Messy curly hair? Help, please?

I already posted a question for this but nobody answered so I'll just repost it in a different way, lol.

My hair is like super curly, I'm in seventh grade. Everyday before school I take a shower using Tresemme Shampoo and Conditioner. Then I get out, brush my hair, towel dry it, put loads of Garnier Fructis Gel, and towel dry the bottoms again. I really like this look.

But the problem is, it lasts only for about an hour before it gets really poofy and frizzy. Then I have to put it up in a ponytail, and by the end of the day, its like a big poofball on the back of my head. Sometimes I really do want to straighten it, but it's soo thick that it takes around 3 hours. I don't have that time. :(

I'm sick of people saying ';You'd look so much prettier with straight hair,'; because I agree with that. But I just can't get it straight and down for more then an hour. :/

Anybody have any suggestions?Messy curly hair? Help, please?
If you buy ghd's they really do work. My hair is very crazy and curly but once you get into a routine of straightening it, it doesnt take as long. My hair also got used to being straight so i only straighten it a bit now. what i started doing first was having a shower the night before school drying my hair and straightening it in layers. then go to bed.. and when u wake up itll be straighter than usual and just go over it again with the straighteners in the morning and your sorted. Now my hair is used to being straight i can have a shower on a morning and im a real 'wizz' at straightening lol!

when you ask a question like this...

we need to know how long your hair is.

is your hair like thick, or lots of it?

a picture would help a million

other then that its hard to answer this question based on your information

but you main problem i can see is that it gets frizzy:

My sister has the same problem... and she found a product that works really well for her so hopefully it'll be of some use to you... try Kinky Curly Curling Custard. It won't straighten your hair but it will cut down on the frizz issue and really define your curls and make it so that it's atleast manageable and presentable. They also have a wide range of products for your hair type on their website (i.e. shampoos, conditioner, promade, ect.) O and did I mention that its all natural? But most of all Embrace your curly hair and love yourself!! Hope that helps!
