Curly hair help?

I have curly hair and not ringlet pretty curly but untamable frizzy evil curly hair i have been straightening it but i dont want to any more cause it damages your hair my hair is super thick and sholder length i would like styles i can do for everyday just easy looks to wear and products that help make my curls more defined and teqniques to help define my hair (i dont have a diffuser nor the money 14 yrs old) thnxCurly hair help?
dont get a chemical straighten (it will kill it more)

here is what i do:

(i have thick, unmanagable dry curly hair)

I use Dove (for dry hair shampoo and conditioner) Let hair dry naturally. I straighten just the under-layer and some midsection of my hair. I bought some large sponge rollers (you can get anywhere) I dampen them then roll them in sections. About 5 on each side of your head. Let them air dry. Take them out. Since you have curly hair naturally, there should be more distinct cute curls in no time. Spray a little w/ hair spray. (dont worry the curls usually fall -so they wont be ringlets) You can wear this look for a couple days (even a few!)....and it really prevents you from damage because your not straigtening your entire head...and the style lasts. Its cute becaue you get the best of both straigten and curly.

*we're lucky....bcuz people w/ curly hair shouldnt wash their hair everyday (it drys your hair out even more if you do)

I have frizzy sometimes-curly hair, and this is what I did when it was the same length as yours:

Wash %26amp; condition

Towel dry by patting, not rubbing, so as not to separate the curls

Work in about a golf ball-sized amount of mousse

Scrunch

Blowdry upside down with a diffuser (I bought this: http://www.londondrugs.com/Cultures/en-U to attach to my normal hairdryer. It's only $10). Start by going along the top of your head, where the hair is falling straight down, and then tilt your head for the sides, so the hair there is falling straight down when you dry it. Do this until it's about 85% dry, and then finish it by blowing from underneath with your head right side up.

Finish by blowing with cold air if your hairdryer has that setting.

As for cuts - get lots of layers. I prefer choppy layers, because feathered, thinned layers tend to make my hair do silly things, and not curl as well.
have ur hair permantently straightened as like a birthday gift or christmas gift =]
ask your parents if you can premently straighten your hair.

It last 6 monthes =]]
you should really try the healthy curls collection by suave it really works luk
buy leave in conditioner, and apply after you wash your hair.

while hair is still damp, part ur hair in manageable sections and take approximately 1 inch thick strands of hair and use any kind of gel or hair putty (dipidy doo is really cheap and works for like $2.00).

with each i inch section of your hair apply the gel/product and wrap around ur fingers as if you were curling it. do this with ur whole head (you'll get real fast eventually) and let it dry. your big hair will become more tamed and not to mention really shiny and luscious.

give it a try!
my hair is the exact same as yours- curly and super thick. First of all, I would get layers to thin it out. Also, you should change your shampoo and conditioner to something designed for curly or frizzy hair. You could also try a conditioner spray, or even wax, to get rid of frizzys! =P

Hope I helped!!
ask your hair cutter to thin it and get layers about ear length and lower. that's what i did with my hair, which is alot like yours, and it helped alot. also, dove has a good product, it is anti-friz serum i think. it's in a little blue bottle with a pump, it works wonders :) just work it in after you get out of the shower with your fingers and let it air dry, it works great with me! get the good shampoo like pantene or herbal essences at costco! they are super cheap there and they help alot with dryness!
a friend of mine had mondocurly and frizzy hair she just brushes it out wet and the applies this anti-frizz product from garnier it not expensive at all and then judt runs it thru her hair and she carries it in her purse in case it frizzes up during the day!
hey something that looks really cute is 2 pig tails in the front with curly hair it gives u the baby doll look and it looks hot so good luck
