Curly hair help?

i have very thick and curly hair. it's because i am Latina. my hair is long-ish and i don't know how to style it. i am getting it cute next Sunday and the hairdresser is spanish and she knows my mom. my mom is Latina. anyways, how should i ask for it to be cut? will the hairdresser know how to cute it? i want it shorter so i can easily straighten it or blow dry it sometimes. also i wanna leave it down sometimes w/ out it getting like crazy Scary Spice hair. can you help me please?Curly hair help?
add some layers into your hair and use frizz free products specially when leaving it curly, it'll stop your hair from going boofy. i have curly hair too. you can also use mouse for curly hair.Curly hair help?
i have curly hair too , and i had it long until i wanted to try the short hair thing. I guess i thought it would make it easier to maintain, but i was wrong. It got harder because my curls would go all over the place and i had to straiten it even if i didn't want to, so i guess i would advice not to cut it too short it doesn't go with curly hair but do think about getting layers!
keep it long! i have curly hair too and i cut it once... it was a disaster.
