CURLY HAIR HELP!!!!!!!!?
I have curly hair and i have to wash it every morning as i can't wash it at night as it gets all messed up and into knots. So i HAVE to wash it very morning and it goes fizzy if i just let it dry. I don't have time in the morning to either straighten or curl or blow dry my hair. I am allergic to alcohol which is in most chemical products. So does anyone one have any hair tips or know any creams i can put on my hair to make it look nice and fizz less.CURLY HAIR HELP!!!!!!!!?
You can try all sorts of anti-frizz stuff. My hair is curly as well. You should try biosilk, olive oil glossing polisher or 9-1-1. None of these will oil your hair too much.CURLY HAIR HELP!!!!!!!!?
Here are some frizz tips for you!
* A good haircut is key (find an expert here: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons
* Sleep on a satin pillowcase
* Don't shampoo every day
* Comb conditioner through hair in the shower
* Avoid terrycloth towels; use microfiber instead
* Air dry or use a diffuser
* Use styling products suited for your hair type (http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types
* NEVER use a brush
* Don't touch your hair
* A pomade is great for mid-day touchups
* Apply styling products to dripping wet hair
Check out http://www.naturallycurly.com for lots of great info about curly, wavy, kinky and textured hair!
you're the third person on this site that I have recommended this to, but get Proclaim Glossing Polish. It is the BEST product I have ever used (and i have done all sorts of crap to my hair) it makes it look silky and it doesnt make it fall flat. You can get it at Sally's if you have one of those near you. Or you can look at other Beauty supply stores. I just know sally's has it, thats where i buy it. oh yeah and it smells soooo good and it doesn't have alcohol.
I have the same problem and have to wash my hair everyday. Have you tried the Baybliss Beliss straightening hair dryer? It straightens and dries at the same time so wouldn't take quite so long.
I like using Aussie products-the 3 minute miracle frizz remedy sachet is good and only 97p from boots.

ORGANICS :)
So strong leave in conditioner will help get rid of the frizz and detangle and it is alcohol free. I swear by it.

What can I do to get rid of my permanent curly hair, HELP?
Last year in May I got my hair chemical curly. It was great the first few days, but now is a disaster. I can't do anything with it anymore. So I just keep my hair in a pony tail now. My hair has always been straight, wavy and thick, but it got thicker until I got it permanent curly. Back in the day It wasn't even that bad when I leave it down. Though I did use to dye my hair a lot as well. Now is just big and wavy and thick. It makes my whole head big with all that hair. Also every time I take a shower it makes it curly, but once it's dry I comb it and put ';Proclaim Professional Care Glossing Polish'; honestly it doesn't do much to my hair because it's still stays the same.
Also I been thinking about cutting my hair short since it's long now (it's like near my shoulders). I was hoping to stay like this because I want my hair to grow longer, but not anymore. So I just want to get rid of half of the damage I have. Especially when I have bad split ends and all. So I really need help! and some suggestions. All I want is to go back to my natural hair and not only that my real hair color, like I use to have it. :(What can I do to get rid of my permanent curly hair, HELP?
mmmm my tip is washing your hair a lot you may not see a difference in your hair for a while like you sed but whenever i wash my hair it grows.
you can also ask the hair dresses what you can do about it, or if your really desperate chemically straight your hair and i'm pretty sure if you was your hair a lot the hair colour mite even come out. i heard theres this special machine to get rid of hair dye but its really reallly really painful it like pulls your hair.
p.s only shampoo your hair twice a week same with conditioner dont shampoo and condition your hair everytime you have a shower coz it'll just make the curls worse. What can I do to get rid of my permanent curly hair, HELP?
You can get a chemical straightening done to your hair to rid your head of the curls longterm rather than resorting to a straightening iron daily. For the hair color dillema, you can also get a hair dye stripper, but beware this can strip the natural color out of your hair if not careful. Personally, I would consult a hair dresser as I believe they would know best.
Japanese hair straightening is the best chioce for u
. i have very thick and curly hair and it got much more manageable , soft , silky and healthy after the straightening. but no matter what- make sure you are going to a professional who knows what they are doing! make sure to meet with other people that got it done with him/ her/ the salon. getting referrals for this will be your best bet.
i will re answer this question after you post pictures =]
either cut it of and get extensions or go to a hairdresser and she wait they have to say

I have Ethnic Mixed, Thick, Curly Hair. Help Please?
Well I'm mixed with black and white. My hair is suuuuuuuuuper thick. It's weird though because it has tight curls at the roots and loose curls everywhere else. I've tried almost everything for my hair. From professional hair products, to home remedies, to grease and oils.
Whenever I try and straighten my hair it usually frizzes up a bunch the next day. I'm constantly having to lay it down with my hand. It also looks dry and is not that shiny. People tell me my hair has the potential to be beautiful. I just have to find a treatment to make it that way.
So, If anyone has ANY products or ideas of what I could do with my hair, that'd be great. Thanks in advance!:]I have Ethnic Mixed, Thick, Curly Hair. Help Please?
I also have curly hair but its not that tight and curly but my mother has MASSIVE curly thick hair , its indescribable . the products we use are professional , there a bit expensive but it really changes your hair the product is called REDKEN . They have one for really curly hair its called fresh curls , but if you want to straighten it , they have shampoo and conditioner called smooth down , it keeps your hair controlled and i suggest to bring a Portable little starigther where ever you go to touch up your hair , i have one and im glad i bought it ! there small and cheap (: hope i helped .I have Ethnic Mixed, Thick, Curly Hair. Help Please?
I use biosilk silk therapy for my hair. It is like a silky oil that i put in my damp hair before i dry it. It keeps it really silky and hides all my frizzies from split ends and it doesnt make my hair oily (don't put it in your roots obviously). But you should also try to just get a product for curly hair and scrunch it into hair when it is wet and then embrace your curls!
well my hair is thick too ma.And i always straighten it.but thats not good because it breaks off your hair.if you go to school usually what i do is.wet my hair because its curly and put the gel in it then brush it.and leave it in a pony tail .also you could get it braided.

I would probably suggest hair cut to get rid of dead ends
Hi,
I have the same problem. My hair isn't like white peoples nor is it really like black peoples.
This first thing I want to tell you is that washing your hair will make it frizzy. I wash (shampoo) my hair only once a MONTH. (That doesn't mean I don't wet it or condition it.) I also only comb it when it's wet that's also when I add any hair products while its wet. My bet is your mother (like mine) is white and unfortunately my mom knew nothing about dealing with hair of color (mine is blond but it has many of the same characteristics of a ';fro'; i.e. kinky, frizzy, curly, dry etc.), as a kid it was awful trying to make it look ';normal'; the more I brushed, washed and fought the curls and frizz the worse they got.
Do yourself a favor and go to a black (all black) hair dresser and take every question you ever had about your hair to her. I promise it could be an enlightening experience! best wishes.
Blessings, Light %26amp; Love.
P.S. I love the ';Olive Oil'; products

I have black curly hair that is a little curlier than that and to have it hold all day and not frizz I apply a medium/small amount of mouse specifically for curly hair which will help the curl hold and not weight down your hair. Then you can apply a tiny bit of gel, or even better Infusium 23 and Biosilk. Good luck :]
I wish i knew!
Her hair looks amazing!!
I hope you find out, sorryy i'm not good help.

Take small sections and loosely curl with an inch wide curling iron with a spiral around it. afterwards mist with a wave spray like Frederic Fekkai Wave Creating Spray (or salt water works just as well). and run your fingers through your hair shaking out the curls into waves. you can use hair straighteners to curl you hair. heres a step by step guide on how to :
1) grab a picece of hair
2) place the straightener just below your roots
3) slide the straightener down your hair, but as you do, curl it

Curly Hair Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
My hair is twisty curly, and REALLY frizzy. What are some products that you can use after you shower to make it less frizzy. I don't like washing my hair everyday, because it yets dry and is bad for your scalp. I don't want a cruncy, wet look, so no gels. It should look natural, and moveable, and look like that for two-three days.
What are some good Conditionars? I use Garnair Fruticus. Its ok, but i think its making my hair fall out a lot.
What are some cute hairstyles, and how do you do them? (Post pics, please)
Whats the best type of haircut? Should i get layers? Side-bangs?
I can't make a messy bun without it being a rolled up and bouncy, so it looks really weird. How do you make one?

Ok I have this problem too so what I do is I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner. Then after I get out of the shower I put in A serum to prevent my hair from frizzing ( paul Mitchell's is the best)
then after I put that in I put in AG's recoil and it works amazingly. you only need a dime size amount and just run it through your hair with your fingers. As for a type of conditioner I recommend Marc Anthony's strictly curls it work awesome.

I would try a mouse or a cream instead of a gel then. I really like gel, but that's just me. I find I can scrunch out any crunch or hard texture with my hands once my hair is dry, so you could try that too. Also to decrease the hardness of gel try using a leave-in conditioner (or just a littler more of your normal conditioner) underneath the gel.

MY GOD! Were we seperated at birth?
When you take a shower, comb the shampoo in, rinse, then comb the conditioner in, rinse. When you do that, just wrap it up into a towel(Don't mess it up or anything! That compleatly throws off your curls), just wring your hair out, then flip your head over %26amp; wrap a towel around it. After its been there for about an hour, take the towel out of your hair %26amp; let it air dry. Don't even brush it when it gets dry.

You might want to try using a product, such as tresseme shine spray or vive pro shampoo and conditioner. These products and easy one step solutions to your problem. You jsut spray it in while ur hair is still wet and shake it around or comb through it to distribute it evenly. Ive found that this works the best, bc it is one step and one product! Hope that helped!
don't EVER comb out curly hair when its dry because you loose the curl pattern!!!!! then it gets poofy and puffy. try spraying some shine spray in your hair. you can go to a local drugstore like walgreens, cvs, or rite aid and pick some up. any brand will do.
you can also go on naturallycurly.com its a great website and gelped me a lot!!
Good luck %26amp; God Bless :)
I ran across this website a while back. Haven't tried it, but the theory looks sound. You can find more about it by searching the web on ';no shampoo routine'; or ';no poo routine';.

make sure you cut your hair short!!!!
take a shower twice a day with a really god shampoo.
use conditioners
use Straigtning cream from Loreal Paris.
Go to beauty parlors once in a while.
Be ready to spend $1000 a month on you r hair
good luck :)
yea, that same exact thiing happens to me... i would say dont get layers in your hair, cut it straight and use leave in conditioners, curling shampoos and conditioners and i use treseme anti friz serum.
Frizz-ease shine serum, works a treat for me.
Also leave-in conditioners
i wud suggest that after each time you wash it towel dry it and then use frizzease drem curls spray and scrunch and curl ur hair doi not brush it after appling the spray
a product called Frizz Ease. it comes in shampoo, conditioner and aftercare products! good luck XX

Curly HAIR HELP!?!?
I have REALLY tightly coiled curly hair and it tends to frizz, I have tryed using practically EVERY product out their but none of them gives my hair definition.. and by that i mean ';defines the curls';... the only way to define the curls on my hair is when its wet and I put gell on it.. but that damages my hair and so i dont anymore... my friend told me about this product called ';curly pudding'; from miss jessie.. (here is the link) http://www.canadianbeauty.com/2008/04/mi I havent tryed it yet or ordered it ... but I was thinking of.. im from canada though and its REALLY expensincive.. for the shipping order and stuff.. so i was wondering.. does anyone know of any off the counter products that would do the same as the ';curly Pudding does';?
and for those of you who dont know the curly putting is suppose to define and strech out your curls..
I need REAL help!
and this is KARRY not kesha!Curly HAIR HELP!?!?
My hair is very similar, Kar'. Here's the deal:
Because my hair is a little longer than shoulder length, when it's in its natural state of wavy-curly, I use two products to keep it from being so dry.
One thing I use is called a ';cholesterol conditioner'; as a HAIR cream. It's actually good conditioner after a shampoo as well, but I use it as a styling cream. I like the Le Claire brand, but this one works well, too.
]]]]]]]]%26gt; http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.j
Also, I like to use Aveda Brilliant Humectant Pomade. You can only buy it at hair salons but it's great.
]]]]]]]%26gt; http://www.aveda.com/templates/products2
Before I apply my products, I like to spritz my hair with a little water so that it doesn't tangle when I comb through it. Then, I apply the product. Then I use a brush. A good boar/nylon bristle brush is good. I prefer a medium width to the bristle tufts as opposed to the really condensed brushes. The medium brush causes the hair to smooth together well, but also allows your hair to separate a bit as you ';finger'; some sections apart.
I must say that, given my hair type, I've had to incorporate using a relaxer to manage my hair at this length. I鈥檝e gone from relaxing my hair once a year, to twice a year, to every three months now because of the length. The longer it's gotten, the more it breaks and becomes tangled to the point of tearing it as you comb to the end of the strands. Consider relaxing it if you don't use those types of products. I use a very mild relaxer that works wonders from Vitale
]]]]]]%26gt; http://vitalepro.com/index.htm
Check with your beauty supply center for Vitale Sensitive Relaxer. They should have it.
If you elect to get it done at a salon, tell the operator that you want a mild relaxer and she will know the type of product to use as well as the amount of time needed to comb the product through to gain the desired result. I recommend maintaining some curl because, again, you could always blow dry it for a straight-straight look.
In ANY case, I recommend Nexxus Products. While, for some time, you could only buy Nexxus in a salon, now you can purchase them at other stores as well.
I recommend Botanoil or Therappe shampoo, with Humectress as a conditioner for most times and KerapHix periodically, especially when your hair gets super dry. For the record, that鈥檚 how this stuff is spelled and not a typo. Here鈥檚 the site. Go to the site map and then look for shampoo, conditioners, etc.:

Try LoReal's studio line, it inexpensive and you should be able to get it at any drug store. What's good about it is...that it holds your curls without that weight or crispy feeling. I loved it, because I have thick curly hair and the bottom of my curs would come loose. But that just kept it all together, hope that helps!

Curly hair help?
I have shoulder length naturally curly hair.. its really thick and some of the curls are big some some are small but my hair just tends to get poofy, and i've tried using gel but even if i get it to be stiff it always looses hold in the back. Whenever i try and dry my hair with a diffuser it seems to lose definition and get frizzier even if i direct all the air down. I can never get it really straight either, i try a straightning iron and i cant seem to get some curls out. I dont mind it curly but how can i get it to either have nice curls or waves and be soft and tame?Curly hair help?
I am a haidresser. I have curly hair but also have it straight. The best products on the market is TIGI catwalk 'curls rock' for curly or TIGI 'control freak' for straight. Both come in 4 products. Best results if you use all 4. You have shampoo, con, then 2 styling products. With curls best ting to do is wash put on product and leave to dry naturally.Curly hair help?
try a curl definer and if you want to straighten it use serum or something. try frizz esse that dead good.
I have curly hair too - I use a product while it's still damp and then LEAVE IT ALONE. When it dries it will be curly. Try Paul Mitchell Lite Styling Creme.lipstick

wut would look better on a guy a taperfade size 2 or curly hair ontop with a side size 2Curly hair help?!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
It is very hard to answer this without a photo of yourself. People have different head shapes and sizes and this is very important when choosing a hairstyle for someone. But on most guys I would have to say I would prefer the taperfade.

Curly hair help please?
My hair is naturaly curly like this http://besthaircutstyles.com/wp-content/ . I want something pretty, and office appropriate for tomorrow. I am sick of the poofy pony tail. Any idea?
ThanksCurly hair help please?
Focus most of your shampoo on the roots and scalp, and focus most of your conditioner on the ends. I use Matrix Sleek.Look Smoothing Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner and it helps to smooth down my hair and make it less frizzy. I got a deal of two 1-liter bottles for $30 from Beauty First, and it lasted me almost a year since it's more concentrated than drugstore shampoo and conditioners. Comb your hair using a wide-toothed comb after you have applied conditioner in the shower. Get all the tangles out then. Then rinse the conditioner out. Towel dry your hair gently, getting all the water out. Pat dry, do not rub. Don't use any styling products with alcohol. Using a lotion or balm is better than gel and definitely mousse. I use Artec TextureLine Hair Mix evenly throughout my hair - it's a lotion type of mixture that smooths the hair. I put extra on the ends. Then I use Enjoy Shaping Lotion to scrunch it. A little goes a long way, and the hold is more amazing than anything I've ever used at the drugstore. It makes your hair feel soft and there's no buildup. Don't ever brush your hair while it's scrunched, and comb your hair only while it's wet.Curly hair help please?
i suggest maybe straightening it for a change? get some layers, highlights, maybe even a different hair color? try flat ironing it, and see how it looks. if u like it, then u can flat iron it weekly or get it permanantly straight with a relaxer formula at the salon.
Wash and condition. Comb out (start at the ends). Add a light spray gel or a styling serum. Comb through. Part hair. Head bang. Scrunch near roots a few times. Drive to work with the windows open. Your hair will dry on the way. If you think of it, give the roots a little squeeze now and then. But don't worry about it too much.
I have the hair too.... what I do is I put in a Curling spray (even though we don't need it) or a leave in conditioner. This makes the hair smooth and the curls feel softer. Try letting it dry on it's own and see what happens. If you prefer to blow dry your hair first use big hair curlers and dry under the hair dryer with a leave in conditioner on. It looks and feels nice afterwards! Hope this helps ;)
Pull it up in a hair tie or a hair clup with some of the nice curls down .... looks really nice :)
I like that hair the way it is!
It's VERY pretty!
let it flow naturally, it works for me.
I would do a messy bun parted in the middle (or side) with a few pieces framing your face... that would be gorgeous!
When you get out of the shower in the morning put some gel or mousse and defrizzer in it while it's still damp. And let it curl naturally. Don't blow dry it! Wake up a little earlier if it takes a while to dry. Remember to part it to the left side. And then put a bobby pin down on your right bangs and pull it to the side.
Instant classic! :) Good luck!

how can i curl my hair like miley cyrus without a curling iron??'
http://blog.mlive.com/cafe/2007/12/1amilCurly hair help?
okay
shampoo and condition ur hair with volume shampoo (herbal essences)
apply mousse
blowdry with a round brush
lucky for u, u do NOT use a curling iron
but hot rollers.
Finger through hair but do NOT brush
Apply hairspray
P.S. This may not work to well for naturally straight hair. If you have slightly wavy hair it should do ok.
p.p.s. Hot rollers tend to make hair shorter.Curly hair help?

Curly Hair Help!!!!!?
I have extremely curly hair, and i straighten it every day which is real tiring, is there anything i can to do to make it less frizzy and straight?Curly Hair Help!!!!!?
i know exactly what you mean, my hair is very very very curly and used to get frizzy after seconds, but what i do now is, i shower and as soon as i get out, i brush my hair still wet and then bend my head down so my hair is hanging in front of me completely. then i use dep gel, the light blue one and i scrunch it up into my hair, then i spray it with a little hairspray, then i take the blow drier with a diffuser on and blow dry my hair till its just about dry, and it comes out great :DCurly Hair Help!!!!!?
I also have crazy frizzy, curly hair, and I live in a part of Texas where the humidity is insane. I used to straighten my hair, but it is just not worth the effort.
My suggestion is stop straightening it so much, it is bad for your hair. Start growing it out if it's short. Get layers put in to shape it. Be careful who you go to. A lot of hairdressers are not very experienced working with curly hair, so call around. They'll usually be pretty frank about it if asked. I've had several tell me they prefer not to cut curly hair. I appreciate the honesty.
Finally use a leave-in conditioner (I use ION swimmers leave-in) and then a spray gel. I've tried them all from the really expensive to the really cheap and my favorite by far is Pantene's spray gel in the white and red bottle.
This way your hair really only takes 5- 10 minutes to fix as opposed to 2-3 hours.
i have curly hair, and i totally get where you're coming from, but once you get control of curly hair, you can learn to love it. here's what i do:
1. wash my hair with sunsilk captivating curls shampoo
2. condition with sunsilk captivating curls conditioner (put in hair, wait 30 seconds, then wash out.
3. when i get out of the shower, i flip my hair upside down (make sure not to skip this; it is what prevents your hair fom getting crunchy), then work VO5 extreme style curling mousse into my hair (while it is still upside down) and let it air dry.
this may sound weird, but doing this right before you go to bed gives you full, bouncy curls.
well if you want it permanently straight, you can get a permanent press at the salon.
of course, you will hafta go back to get it done every once in a while.
but if you just want it under control, you can either go with a moose (but it kinda makes your hair all crunchy and hard) or you can go with a mixture of straightening creme and de-friz creme.
i have the exact same problem so i went to the salon to help with my hair and she but like a 1/4 cup of beverly hills brand straitening product. it is still curly but its not poofy at all and it doesn't make my hair feel stiff either
What you can do is wash you hair for a really long time and then do not dry it. Straight after straighten it. That way it will be less tireing. Mianly because you just have to straighten it like 3 times and that is it
instead of straightning it try scrunching it with gel when your hair is wet i find it looks great..for me at least here the best curly hair website
www.naturallycurly.com
Go to a hair saloon and they can chemically straighten it. Just make sure it's not a bad place or they could mess up you hair.
Embrace the curl just put in some defining cream stuff and you're good!
get your hair relaxed at a good salon.
if it's at a cheap salon they can really screw up your hair.
:)
Maybe some John Friedas Frizz-Ease serum in extra strength.

Curly hair help?!?
i am mixed with African-American and Caucasian. I have very curly hair, and when i get out of the water my hair tends to get poofy, does anyone have any styles i can do with my hair that look cute?
my hair is down to my shoulders if that helps any.
thanks for your time : )Curly hair help?!?
ummm...theres loads you can do, and it helps to put a little syrem in 1st.
heres a site for you to check out!
www.naturallycurly.com
or..
1. Condition your hair, massaging your scalp to get rid of build-up and excess oil. Shampoo your hair every other day, or best; only two days in a week. (shampooing every day dries out your hair)
2. Comb hair in shower while conditioner is still in. Never towel dry hair. Instead, air dry or diffuse.
3. Pour a dollop of liquid straightening serum and a smaller dollop of glossing serum into your hand and mix them together.
4. Apply the straightening-glossing serum mixture to sections of your hair. Twist each section around your fingers, hold for a few seconds, then release. Do this all over your head.
5. Turn your head down. Dry your hair with a blow-dryer with a diffuser attachment until your hair is completely dry.
6. Spray hair lightly with an anti-frizz spray.
7. Or... You can be sure to condition your hair thoroughly in the shower, combing through it with you fingers (not a comb). When you get out of the shower, put some leave-in conditioner or curl cream in it, followed by gel (don't worry, your hair will absorb a lot and prevent frizz--it won't get crusty unless you overload on the gel). Let air dry.
..and style howerver u choose.Curly hair help?!?
my hair is simular to yours, although I am strictly Caucasian. What i do, is i use fruictis moisterizing shampoo, then moisteriz conditioner, and i blowdry it straight and then straighten it out with the flat iron. also, you can try to put oolive iol in it and leave it in for an hour then wash your hair with my suggested shampoo and conditioner.it makes my hair silky, smooth and slippery. and for caucasian, my hair is soft, but curly, unruley and fuzzy. it is the softest when i do what i suggested. so buy a straightener and a blowdryer, and don't heat style it every day, as it can severy damage your hair and dry it out and make it 3 times worse.
you can do something called twisting, if you go to an african american hairsalon they can do it, and it shouldnt be too expensive
it will look nicest if your hair is very thick, if it isnt, they can always use a bit of hair extension in with it
hope that helps

I would suggest you to put gel in your hair when it's wet and then alittle hair spray and then yes blow dry it and it will look really curly but at the same time you wont have frizzy hair and it will look like you have your hair under control instead of your hair having control over you.

Curly hair Help????!!?
so as the question says i have curly hair, for 6-7 months ive been taking care it, not washing it everyday only every 2-3 days. and i was wondering some things.
is it good to brush your while your in shower?

well i have curly hair too and i do brush my hair when im conditioning it. brushing it helps spread the conditioner through out your whole head. well you can blow dry it once in a while but i wouldnt say its good because the heat damages your hair. i personally dont blow dry it because it makes my hair frizzy. and ive never done an oil treatment so i cant help you with the last 2 questions. hope i helped

Curly Hair, Help!?
My daughter has blonde curly hair. She is 2 and it is hard to get her to sit still to fix it. My hair is straight, so I have never dealt with curly hair. How can I keep it from looking like she has a huge cottonball on her head?Curly Hair, Help!?
She needs lots of conditioner and a wide tooth comb. If your little one cant use adult conditioners try Johnson's baby detangling conditioner. its wonderful and smells lovely. They also sell a Johnson's baby detangling shampoo too. Its meant for little ones with curls. I use it on my hair and its great :)Curly Hair, Help!?
I too have really curly hair. Here are things I have learned over the years...
Don't brush it when wet, it is bad for the curl.
Lots of leave in conditioner, every day if possible.
Only shampoo it once a week, it takes out the oils that keeps curls neat.
There is a product called noodle head, it's a creamy product. Just a bit of it will keep her hair neat.
Try and let her hair fall naturally, use headbands or clips and don't pull the hair tight (this is not comfortable, trust me).
Use a wide tooth comb after using the leave in conditioner, not a hair brush.
Good luck!
