Curly hair help pretty please?

Hi, my hair has soft ringlet-y curls and I'm sick to death of them. Everyone says my hair is really pretty but I just want it straight. However, straightening irons dont work my hair, the heat makes it frizz and it curls back up in a matter or a couple of hours.

When I usually do it, when it's wet (the only time I can brush it through), I brush it, put mousse in it and leave it to air-dry. Sometimes I use hairspray on my fringe.

Is there a better way to manage it ?Curly hair help pretty please?
I have hair like yours lol but mine is short

I can completely relate. I used to want to straiten my hair. I tried 3 different straighteners and tried to straiten it every other day and I tried to get it chemically straitened twice.

My advice just embrace your natural curl I know that sucks to hear but it's true.

My hair was horrible after a few years of that. It felt like straw ad would just break. I eventually had to cut it short. Now it's a little longer and it looks better but it's still short lol but the texture is so soft and all I have to do is put a tiny bit of anti frizz stuff in it and let it air dry.

You can try to straiten it but I don't think you should. It completely killed my hair (maybe she did it wrong but I still wouldn't try it)

Maybe you could try some different ways of putting it up or use a product like I do that makes hair less frizzy without getting crispy like when you use hairspray or moosee. Just ask people at a hair supply store or the person who cuts your hair and they might know a good one. Then you'll just have soft ringletts and they'll look really pretty :)

good luck lol just know your not aloneCurly hair help pretty please?
Id go directly to a pharmacy and buy products to make the hair straight right before using flat irons or blowdryers, you should try lee stratfford, hes pretty great.

If your into spending a bit more money and want a kind of permanent thing, what I did was I went to a salon and got this treatment called Keratin, it made my hair softer and definetly straighter but it didnt make it completely straight but more of a wavy look, before it took me about 1 hour to straighten my hair and now it takes me a bit less that 10 minutes, it really made life easier, and whenever i wanna go back to curly i just put in some gel, OR you could buy a really good straightner that gets super hot, like mine which is vidal saisson :) hope this helped :)xx
First of all, I wish my curly hair was the beautiful kind that you described. Never use curling iron or flat iron on wet or damp hair. You will burn it! You might want to talk to several stylists that have alot of experience in working with curly hair. I had mine chemically straightened when I wore it past my shoulders and I loved it. Now it is very short and I just blow dry with a round brush and stop drying it when it is just barley damp. This allows the natural curl to form and saves the hair from damage done by blow drying. But I would definitely talk to an experienced stylist.
Yeah there is a much better way. I have wavy hair and the frizz annoys me too but I use Schwarzkopf's Got 2b Spiked Up max-control gel. Whenever I get out of the shower I brush my hair and then I put the gel in my hair and get a round brush and blow out my hair with the round brush. It really works.
yep i use to have that same problem. DONT STRAIGHTEN IT WHEN ITS WET!! #1 RULE and #2 get some straightening gel. and get a REAL ceramic straightner. Not a cheap one. Go to hair salons and see if they have one, or you can use the one I have, I got mine from walmart like $50 bucks. Its called wet to straight by conair. Works miracles. I promise.
Get a blow dryer with a brush. It has like a brush connected to it. Try looking up Gold n'Hot. Blow dry your hair with this. That'll make your hair straighter, but it might be a little wavy or frizzy. Then, straigthen it. I'm sure it'll work. That's what i do.
you could get it chemically straightened.

go to a hairdresser, and have her straighten it,

this should usually last three months or so.
