I have curly hair. I like it curly, and I don't have too much of a problem with frizz or dryness, but I'm a bit useless at hair care and styling and so I need some help. At the moment, I wash and condition my hair every two days. The day I do not wash my hair I just wet it in the shower before letting it dry. My hair is quite short, I'd say about three-four inches long. However- one problem I have is getting lift and volume at the roots of the hair. I see people with curly hair on television (and although I know they have top hair stylists working for them) and they seem to be able to achieve lift at the roots of the hair on top of their heads, whereas my hair remains flat and relatively straight at the roots on the top of my head.
Is there anything I can do to combat this???? Ideally any solutions that do not involve curling/straightening irons would be great.
xShort, thick curly hair help...?
get some root lifter or mousse.try tresemme. then blow dry it upside down .then spray some hairspray in it . if if you want you can tease it.
