Okay-so I am Cape Verdean/Iranian when I was born my mother brought me and I had a relaxer done to my hair. Ever since then my hair has been frizzy and not as curly and bouncy (plus the fact that I've colored it quite a few times hasn't helped) I am too scared to go to a salon because white hairstylist seem to be scared of my hair and continuously remind of how hard my hair is compared to my sisters who have 'perfect' hair. I cried last time I went to the salon so I cut it myself. I really don't know how to take care of my thick wavy frizzy hair since my mom taught me to straight in it most my life. I was wondering do you recommend any products like gels meant for black hair for me?I'm Cape Verdian/Iranian and I have extreme curly hair? Help?
so sorry for your hair.
go to a hot salonI'm Cape Verdian/Iranian and I have extreme curly hair? Help?
naturallycurly.com
has great tips.
I have curly hair and the best shampoo/conditioner I have found is Sleek Look by Matrix. You should be able to find it almost anywhere now. It used to be salon only but I have seen it at Target. It's great for when I want to straighten my hair, but it's also good for leaving it curly. It adds some weight to the curls and totally tames the frizz.
you can try pantenes relaxed and natural. trust me, it works.
