I have a mixture of wavy, frizzy and curly hair. I have no idea what to do with it. I can't straighten it because it takes too much time to be doing daily and damages your hair. If I put mousse, it just frizzes up like when you comb curly hair. I really need a wet 'n' go type of style. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I have VERY curly frizzy hair and what I do is just spray it with some Pantene detangler and put lots of the Dove curl mousee in it and let it air dry, if you blow dry it that will just make it more frizzy.
I hear the scrunching products are good it might work for you! You just either spray it in or put the gel in it and scrunch it up with your hands and let it air dry. Lots of brands offer it.Frizzy/Wavy/Curly Hair Help?
i feel your pain sweetie. im there with you. i use Herbal Essence Totally Twisted mousse, John Freda Frizz Ease serium, and a defuser.
apply frizz serium first to damp hair (also, instead of using a towel to tie your hair up in use an old cotton shirt, it doesnt give off as much frizz), next apply a golf ball size of mousse and scrunch through hair, then take the defuser and pile your hair on top if it and scrunch.
a haircut every 3 months will help get the dead off as well. hope it helps sweetie
OMG, i have the same problem!
I usually put it up into a messy bun, or pig-tails (braided or plain)
I always go on to youtube.com and search 'easy updos' and see what comes up there, they usually have some pretty neat things, and i don't always have to do the same thing again and again...
If you want straighter hair, you could go to a beauty salon and get a treatment that makes your hair permanently straight.
But if you'd like to keep it the way it is, try using a hair gel that makes you hair have a wet/scrunched look.
Basically just playing around with different products will make you see what works best on you!
hun i have the exact same hair as you!
well every morning i take a shower and i get out and brush it then srunch it with curling mousse all around, then i spray a little hair spray around my head and its good to go! :)
i have the same type of hair. if i straight it takes way too much time and even then its poofy and 1 drop of water and it'll start going wavy, and like now i have mousse gel and some baby oil in my hair to tame the frizz but it hasnt worked its big curly mix with wavy curls and loads of annoying frizz! i think the best thing is to wash hair air dry, then once dry comb with a wide tooth comb then add some baby oil not A LOT just a few drops and comb through. then put it in either 2 braids i guess at night and in the morning take em out and they will have soft wavy look and wont look too frizzy dont comb through it but just put ur fingers through em. also in stores they sell frizz serum u can add that a few drops of that to ur hair. remember its better and slightly easier to work with hair that is not freshly washed but just clean like u wait 2 days after it being washed to style. u can also put ur hair in a high ponytail or in a messy bun makin it look all cute.. can give a neat look too.
some ideas = )
that actually have worked for me as well..!
good luck.
then when you get outta the shower just throw it up in a cute n messy bun. with a ribbon. :)
thats always cute.
Try not shampooing and only conditioning every two or three times you wash you hair and while its still wet use an antifrizz serum. I hate how mousse makes hair stiff. oh...when you condition your hair, comb it out. Avoid brushing and combing your hair alot especially with finer tooth combs and bristle brushes. Just run your fingers through with some serum and let it air dry. I have also left conditioner in my hair to keep it softer but thats not good to do (although it looks and feels nice). When you do straighten it out use a leave in conditioner and try to not sleep with your hair loose. Braid it, wrap it but dont leave it loose because it makes the frizz worse and gets your hair tangled.
When you get out of the shower, rinse your hair with cool to icey water. This helps to eliminate frizz and rinses away all of the product your shampoo and conditioner can leave behind. Use a curl activating cream (like Tresemme Curl Booster) and use a diffuser to dry out your hair. Finish with glossing drops and you're good to go.
And during the day, you can fight frizz with a home-made sea-salt spray. Get a cup of luke warm water and stir in 1/4 cup of salt. This helps define waves and gets rid of nasty frizz. Stick this mixture in your bag or purse, but make sure the bottle is securely sealed...or you could have a bit of a mess on your hands.
Hope this helps!
