straightening it doesn't work, ts still poofy.i thin it out myself by useing a razor(for legs and stuff) and it kinda works.. is there anything else i can do to make it less poofy. even when i out gel in it.. it still poofs..

First off, don't use that kind of razor. Go to a salon and use one made for the hair on your head :P Or go out and buy one. Razoring isn't good for your hair and using a razor for shaving is even worse.

The picture is comparable to my hair. But my hair is a lot like Taylor Swifts. Color and all.

First off, here is my routine:

Shampoo, conditioner. Comb my hair until it is sleek in the shower. Then at the end of my shower I turn it to cold. It reduces frizz.

Then I put in leave in conditioner when I'm out. Then some anti-frizz stuff on the top of my head.

I run some mousse threw from the top of my ear to the tips and then a little bit of gel.

Try getting it razored professionally and maybe try some mousse or leave in conditioner.Curly hair help please??i really need it..?
My hair is very curly and I find that when I wake up from tying my hair and hair rubbing on pillow, it does get frizzy and loses it's shine. I use random serums like garnier. Use a shampoo that is especially designed for curly hair thern towel dry then put a after serum and scrunch your hair a bit. I use SO ( Salon Only), it;s not for the salon only it's just the name

Don't use razors and that to cut your hair. That makes it more puffier and it will flick out which will make it harder to control.
My best friends has the EXACT same issue. she complains all the time about how poofy it is. it takes her hours to straiten and is still poofy.

she usually puts gel and hairspray like you do but also complains with the hugeness.

what she does is goes to a local salon and gets her hair thinned. it works well if its done professionally and should cost no more than what it would cost to get a hair cut.

hope this helps(:
anti frizz would deffanatly help, but my hair is kinnda just like yours, i flat iorn it almost everyday because i dont like how frizzy it gets/looks... so i suggest using anti friz shampoo and conditioner and when u step out just put a little anti friz creme or sprits spray all over then flat iorn it :] thats what i do i would go into more detail but then i'd be writing a book. hahaha! good luck
Consider going to a salon and getting a STRAIGHT PERM/reverse perm(will last for about 1-2 months),or a RELAXER,if your hair is very stubborn, these are both semi-permant solutions, meaning much better than daily heat straightening which only lasts one day,and does just as much damage to hair over time as a one-time salon process.
if your looking for a cute hairstyle to try out these tutorials. they are awesome. ;D

your hair is probaly very frizzy to go along with the curls.

so i would get some anti-frizz cream and spray to see if it helps.

hope this helps you(:
i think curly hair and blunt bangs would look great on u.?But another

way to curl ur hair is using curlers.
