at the moment i use herbal esscences its a curl thing shampoo and conditioner, and when i come out the shower i twist small bits of my hair into ringlet type things ... but by the time my hairs dries they've either come out or just look really bad and lank.
I also have a top layer which is just a fuzz of hair that sticks out, with lank curls at the bottom.
im off to boots today so i can get some products, although i'd like to use as little as possible, and the cheaper the better.
NO HEAT PLEASE!!
dont want to buy any things like diffusers or straighteners either...
please help!! :)Curly hair help (no heat, as little product as possible)?
You can tame your frizzes naturally : apply a tiny bit of jojoba oil on your hair when it's damp to give to give it a natural shine ( it's a very fine oil it won't make your hair greasy ) ( if you like straightening serums you can also apply some but that's not necessary ), then put a silky scarf on your hair and wait for it to dry under that ; it will curl in a nice defined shiny way.
Also to take care of your curls during the night, buy a genuine silk scarf to sleep on : other fabrics are very harsh on your hair and rub it hard during the night, it's very damaging to it and causes the curls to lose their shine and definition ! You won't have to face that issue with a silk pillowcase !
If you want your hair to be straight, you can straighten it in a healthy way, it's called wrapping ; when it's damp ( not dripping ) comb and smooth it all around your head, secure it with bobby pins, then tie a silk scarf around your head and wait for your hair to be dry. It will look evenly straight, but in a natural looking way ! This is a link to a tutorial video showing you how to wrap your hair :

Hope that helps !Curly hair help (no heat, as little product as possible)?
1.Wash your hair.
2.While it's still wet make braids,4 or 6 of them.Depends on your hair.Do it before you go to sleep.
3.Tomorrow untie them and your hair will be curly.
4.Or it takes 5 hours...experiment.It all depends on your hair :)
... hope I helped :)
Your best solution is a little pricey but you can get online cheaper...
AVEDA Humectant pomade... like 30$ at the aveda salons but you can get it much cheaper online..I know its pricey but you dont need much..scrunch a dimefull through your hair (ends only) and it makes frizzy hair curly and shiny and you smell awesome! I have tried everything , my hair is down to my stomach I am 36. This is the only product that worked. Also i learned this trick when i was 17,after I wash and condition my hair, (don't put any other product in it) towel dry, and hang your head upside down... scrunch your hair into balls (2 or three) and put elastics or clips on them and let it dry this way..(best time before bed) you will have gorgeous full curls when you wake up, or lastely, buy a satin pillowcase( or make one) it has been known through time to keep your hair from looking bad(not frizzy), and also keep a hairdo(because your hair slides on it not fuzzing or matting.. good luck
(ask for the Aveda humectant pomade for x-mas then see if you like it, use very little.)
