Naturally curly hair. HELP!!!?

i have medium-length naturally curly hair and it looks nice after i wash it, put some hair mouse on it and then let it dry on its own or diffuse it and straighten my side bangs but then i go to sleep and wake up and BAM!! i look like sh*t. my hair looks like a messy blob or tangled hair and its not so curly in the front and the top as it was the day before and yes i try wetting it again but its winter and i don't have time to do that before school so i allways end up pulling it back in a ponytail and go to school. I HATE PONYTAILS!!!! i want to have my hair down, and i don't want to wake up at 5:30 in the morning just to was my hair and whenever i brush it after i wash it and its dry, it goes BAM! frizzy all over again! and im so so sick of it!!! and also i bought a bunch of products to use on my curly hair but too much product makes my hair look really greasy and ugly. what do i do??? also my curls aren't that tight and they aren't that tight aether (if you know what i mean) anyways any tip and advice??? i don't want to straighten my hair, it looks unnatural! which is bad, so please just put down EVERYTHING you know about naturally curly hair and also some pictures would be great! thanks!Naturally curly hair. HELP!!!?
So you diffuse until dry at night? You should try pineappling while you sleep. Just put your hair up in a high, loose ponytail with a scrunchie (cloth covered hair tie). That should help the curls from getting stretched out/knotted, but without a bump. A similar thing you can do is to sleep on a satin pillowcase. This reduces a lot of frizz and damage caused by rolling around in our sleep.

You should never brush curly hair dry! It is very damaging and it is guaranteed to make your hair frizz. If you're hair is getting greasy try using less products or less amounts of different products.

Here are some basic tips for curly hair that you might find helpful:

*Try to find a stylist who knows how to work with curly hair. You can find ratings by region here: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons

*Don't shampoo every day.

*Comb conditioner through hair in the shower.

*Never use a brush on dry hair, only untangle when the hair is wet.

*Apply styling products to dripping wet hair. Scrunch or twirl hair to achieve desired shape.

*Use styling products suited for your hair type. Don鈥檛 know yours? http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types

*Avoid terrycloth towels; use linen, paper towels, or t-shirts instead.

*Air dry or use a diffuser with your blowdryer.

*Don't touch (or brush!) your hair while it鈥檚 drying.

*Once dry scrunch out any crunchy texture. (Don't do this if you are pinneappling overnight.)

For specific products for your hair type you might also want to explore the forums at:

There you can find others with the same hair type and try out some of their favorite products. I would recommend something, but I don鈥檛 know your hair type. :)

Lastly, it has made my hair so much better since I started the curly girl method! I used to almost never wear it down (it was a frizz/poof ball), but now I have pretty, shiny curls. ~:) It鈥檚 pretty radical鈥攏o sulfates (shampoo) or silicones鈥攂ut it鈥檚 so great for curly hair. wrap your head in something and leave your bangs out or wash your hair earlier so its dry or close to being dry when you go to sleep you could also use hairspray so your curls wont separate and frizz.

i have the same hair as you and i put a little curling spray product [aussie sprunch spray] in it so it can hold better when i'm sleeping.

if not you could cut your hair shorter so the curls will hold better like this maybe?
