Untamed curly hair,help?

Okay, so i have really really curly hair, but it seems to always frizz no matter what i use. If i try a frizz free serum my hair looks greasy (i use less then a dime sized amount), i tried frizz free moose and that made my hair crunchy,stiff and even more frizzy. Lastly i have been using Garnier Fructis style Anti-humidity hairspray and my hair still comes out like the others if not worse.



Whats something i can use and/or do so i can get healthy looking curls without all the frizz,crunch and stiffness?Untamed curly hair,help?
It starts in the shower...make sure you are using a shampoo made for curly hair. Shampoo in general is bad for curly hair, because it strips it of moisture which curls lack in the first place. You can find products at the drugstore that are made for curly hair, and have entire product lines dedicated from start to finish.

You want to hydrate your hair in the shower, shampooing only the roots and use as little as possible. Do not pile your hair on your head while you wash, be very gently. Apply conditioner and let it sit on your hair until you are just about done with your shower.

When you get out, squeeze the water out with a towel but don't tousle it, you don't want to disrupt the curl.

Use a leave-in conditioner and a silicon based frizz tamer that does not have alcohol in it (shockingly most of them have this) and apply from ends to roots.

Also, you can get a styling creme gel and mix with the serum and apply.

Try to find a curling iron that matches the size of your curl and fix any parts that don't behave.

Unfortunately, most of these products are pricey and since it was only until recently that curly hair began getting noticed, drugstore brands still have a few years to catch up.

Well if you want straight hair i would flat iron it! My hair frizzes really bad when its humid so dont worry. But if you go to a solon you should ask them for something that would keep your curls looking healthy but without all the frizz! I know alot of solons have stuff like that.

I'm half black so I have the same problem! But I got my hair perm-straight. So now I have no worries! But What worked for me was Sleek look's hair product. Kinda expensive but it works. So does catwalk's cream/mousse. But don't use too much of catwalk, because it will make your hair turn white.. haha... on the bottom of the link I give, I use those too! haha! Try CHI products also. Try cat-walk moose. Its texture is more like a lotion and when you use it don't use a big amount. 1 little squeeze should do it and just massage through your hair. A good product comes pricey though..its about 15 dollars for a bottle.
