Really curly hair,help please..10 points?

Hey..

I'm half black and half white and my hair gets REALLY curly when I wash it, and it's really hard to comb it out. So I was thinkin of blow drying my hair straight after I wash it but not every time..

So I was wondering if I treat my hair with condition and stuff like that in y hair will the blow drying it straight damage my hair?

Or do you have any other suggestions besides chemical straight my hair cus I don't wanna do that..

Thanks

I recommend washing your hair with a conditioning shampoo and a very good conditioner. I use BioInfusion it works really well, many salons use the same product. Then blow your hair straight. And to get your hair extra straight you can use a straightener. You don't have to do it every day. There are also dry shampoo's. It's a powder used to clean the hair. That way you can just bathe and won't have to wet your hair again. I would wash your hair with liquid soap once or twice a week, other than that a dry shampoo with help for the other days and you won't have to take heat to your hair everyday. Hope this helps!Really curly hair,help please..10 points?
What you should do is buy shampoo and conditioner that helps make your hair straight. Then you should invest in a good blowdryer (get one with a diffuser in case you ever want to wear your hair curly) and a flat iron. I reccomend getting a flat iron at a salon if you really want a good one. Then get some straightening lotion and straighten it, then hairsrpay it.

But don't worry, curly hair can be gorgeous too! Just go to your hairdresser and ask her what you can do to keep the curls more tame!

i highly recommend Japanese hair straightening. i have very curly and damaged hair and it got much more manageable , soft and healthy after the straightening. but no matter what- make sure you are going to a professional who knows what they are doing! make sure to meet with other people that got it done with him/ her/ the salon. getting referrals for this will be your best bet.
There is some really great information, tips and advice at naturallycurly.com. There are forums and a section for each type of hair. I believe yours would be a type ';4'; - maybe a ';3'; but you can go look at the 'hair types' section and scroll down to see what I mean. You don't necessarily have to buy their products - there's lots of casual member info/advice on basic products you can get anywhere.

Oh, and from the hair types page, about type 4 ';This hair type needs extra moisture and tender care to prevent breakage. Let the hair air dry and do not brush or comb. To refresh bed head or fight fuzzy hair line, use a moisturizing hairdress.';
