can somebody help me, in full detail.I want curly hair, help soon!?
Here are some ways to do your hair like this. I've tried all, depending on what was available to me at different times (trips, sleep-overs, home, etc):
After washing your hair routinely, and towel-drying it, apply some thermal protection product designed for curling irons, and not flat irons. I'm a student, always on a budget, so I just use the L'Oreal studio line spray. Use it even if you're not going to use a way that involves heat, because it does protect your hair, and it helps curls last longer:
1. You can use a curling iron. Many brands of curling irons come with larger circumferences to create large, voluminous curls. Just use it to curl your hair, then spray with some hair spray or fixation aqua to hold.
2. You can use your flat iron to curl your hair. Section your hair, take an inch-thick section of hair and brush it to ensure it has no tangles, run your flat iron along to even things out. Now, the tricky part for curling with a flat iron. With one hand, you need to hold the flat iron with your hair between the plates, as close to the roots as you want the curls to start (don't burn yourself though, lol). With your other hand, hold the tips of that lock, and wrap it round the flat iron once (360 degrees, full circle, just once), and keep holding it down, but not too tight. . Don't press the plates together tightly, and now attempt to move the ';circle'; of hair down using your flat iron. And I -really- hope it made sense. OTherwise, you can youtube curling with a flat iron. It generally creates large, loose curls with lots of volume.
3. Curlers! Buy large curlers, section your hair, and use them. I prefer to then wrap my head with a scarf or a hair net, whatever is available, to make sure it doesn't frizz. This is a good way if you do not want to do heat damage to your hair.
4. Twisting. What I do, is after I am out of the shower, I use my routine hair care products on damp hair, then divide it into two to four sections, depending on the size of curls I want. I brush those sections all the way to the top of my head, and keep twisting them as though I am creating a bun, which I would then secure with a hair pin or a hair band. This works for me and for some people, but hasn't worked for others, so it could be related to the quality of your hair or how damp it is. I typically make sure my hair is -almost- but not quite dry for best results. It's also how I curl my hair if I intend to sleep on it.
The latter two ways require time, depending on your hair. My hair is naturally very straight, and therefore it takes loads of effort to get it to hold the curl. I usually wear curlers in the morning if I am going out in the evening and I want curls, and I twist it if I want to curl my hair overnight for the next morning. Your hair could be different, and it could hold the curls in as little as 2 hours.
One way you can also enhance curler function is to use a blow dryer on a warm temperature on them for a minute or two, shortly before taking them out. You just let them cool off then take them out and spray them with hair spray or something.I want curly hair, help soon!?
I would just use a curling iron and curl it in sections, making the bottom layers in looser curls than the top layers. If you separate the curls enough, your hair will look really similar to that. A curling iron is best, my friend got a perm to make her hair look like that and it wasnt how she wanted it at all. There should be a tutorial on youtube that will help you further.
I hope I helped!
