Dry Hair Solution for Curly Hair? HELP!?

My hair is long, I have curled them %26amp; dyed them Red.

The problem is, my hair is really dry, I can't even comb them!!

Even if I forced it, my hair would fall off.

So I only do finger-comb.

I have been told to not wash my hair that often.

I did, I wash my hair once every 3 days, but I still don't think my hair gets any better.

At this moment I am using the shampoo %26amp; conditioner from Loreal Elseve Color-Vive.

I also use their Hair Treatment product every week.

I rarely use blow-dryer, hair straighteners, or anything like that.

But I don't think my hair gets much better.

Any advice would HELP A LOT.

try deep conditioning your hair by putting in lots of conditioner then wearing a shower cap to let the heat from your head allow the conditioner to better penetrate the cuticle.

do this at night and sleep with the shower cap. in the morning rinse or squeeze out the extra conditioner and apply mousse to your hair.

then use a blowdryer with a diffuser (your hand can be used as a diffuser if you don't have one, just make sure the dryer is constantly moving and your hair shields some of the air).

as you're blowdrying scrunch your hair upwards and continue until it's about 90% dry. then let the rest air dry.

hope it helps.Dry Hair Solution for Curly Hair? HELP!?
Hi there.

Well if your hair is naturally curly shampooing every 3 days is too often. People with very curly should shampoo once a week at most.

I can suggest you to condition your hair everyday and leave the conditioner for a about 30 mins(if you have time) and then wash it out.

A leave in conditioner can also help.

If it's hot where you live it's normal to have dry hair, so that's why using conditioner often is so important.
No prob........I also have the same type of hair

Just nourish your hair properly daily with oil........may be olive or mustard....coconut........any type as you wish...leave that for an hour or more....

then you may take bath and apply shampoo to get rid of oiliness and to have silky n shiney hair..................
BIO-SILK for curly hair is good.
what u need is some major hair repair therapy.

i cannot tress enough how important it is that u invest in good hair products, try 'Aussie 3 Minute Miracle: Intense Conditioning for dry or damaged hair'

this is how the product looks like:

also invest in hair serum to prevent ur hair from breaking and from the unwanted split ends, this will also help to manage ur hair better. i use 'Angel Fish: Sleek Fish, Smoothing Serum' http://www.kmishop.com/images/products/m

http://www.kmishop.com/Angel-Fish-Sleek-

make sure ur shampoo and conditioner are specifically designed to treat DAMAGED hair, i use 'Trevor Sorbie: repair and protect' shampoo and conditioner (its a salon brand, so it cost a little more than the other products, it leaves ur hair soft and it smells amazing, however if ur on budged u can find different brands that will do the trick)

repair shampoo: http://www.trevorsorbie.com/templates/tm

repair conditioner: http://www.trevorsorbie.com/templates/tm

Repair %26amp; Protect Intensive Conditioner: http://www.trevorsorbie.com/templates/tm

there are home remedies that u can try too!:

heat up a decent amout of olive oil (do not boil it!)

apply it on ur hair, wrap it up with a plastic bag (this will penetrate ur hair and distribute heat) then wrap it up with a towel, sit back and relax for 30 minutes! then wash it out and prepare to be amazed: ur hair will feel soft and it should be more manageble when its dry!

so to sum up,

the base u need is a good shampoo and conditioner,

then a home made mask of olive oil (or aussie 3 minute miracle)

and a serum to keep ur hair more managable.

also a top tip:

keep ur hair in braids as much as u can, this will prevent it from the rough weather effects such as harsh wind and it will generally keep it healthier.

i prefer french braids as they look good on almost everyone http://data.tumblr.com/HZUzGNc4igcpx3dqr

i also put my hair in pigtail braids when i go to the beach or before i go to bed this way hair is less likely to get messy and out of control.
