Well, my friend just recently got her hair cut in a medium length bob (the ends at the front touch her shoulders, but it is angled going back up) and i am completely in love with the cut, i'm not usually one to copy anyone but this hairstyle is adorable. My question is, would my hair still be simple to style after it is cut into that bob with my hair being pretty curly and thick? Or would it take about an hour everyday to actually get it styled? Any suggestions? (my current hairstyle is to the middle of my back-curly-fairly thick)Short Bob Cut With Curly Hair..Help?

Short Bob Cut With Curly Hair..Help?
This is so funny. I actually just posted the same question. We have very similar hair, it seems. Mine is curly, a little frizzy, and thick, and I want a short bob so badly before school starts! I think that it will actually be easier because it will blow-dry more quickley, and if you have a good flat iron, it only will take a few minutes to style it. Go for it! (I think I'm getting the same cut, but I'm really nervous...)
i had the same problem back in january when i got a bob.
it was the same style of bob as you mentioned.
yes it is fairly easy to style once you get used to it. the back is probably the hardest bit to do. as you need to curl it under. i have left a picture in the sources of me just after i got mine cut.
some styling tips are,
if you are going out and have just washed your hair then blow dry it with a brush to get it as straight as possible. then get some straighteners. ghd's are the best. and then straighten it, curling the ends in.
if you wash your hair in the evening then leave it wrapped in a towel for about 15 minutes. then let it down and brush it. keep brushing it straight to get it to not be as curly/wavy/flicky as usual. wait until it is completely dry until you go to bed. straighten it in the morning.
or blow dry it in the evening then straighten it roughly. then straighten it again in the morning.
remember, always use heat protection.
I have the same cut and my hair is naturally curly. I usually take a shower at night and wake up with a big afro, it takes about 25 minutes to straighten it out. Looks great curly or straight.
