Hi, I have medium lengh frizzy and curly hair. It looks great when its wet but as it drys
it goes outwards and puffy HELP ADVICE??
And if you know of any frizz seryms can you please tell me the names and where i can buy them?Frizzy and Curly hair.. HELP!?
I also have naturally curly hair. I use Boots curl creme - http://www.boots.com/en/Boots-Essentials which is really good as you can see from the reviews. After washing your hair, wait till its about 80% dry then put some through your hair. Then just plait your and leave to dry. Good luck!Frizzy and Curly hair.. HELP!?
I had the exact same problem! But my hair's cut short now, hahaha. I'll type out what I used to do in steps so it's simpler!
1. Don't shampoo everyday, conditioner's fine if you didn't sweat that day and you just need to massage your scalp to loosen the dirt.
2. When you first step out of the shower, scrunch your hair dry with a towel or wet t-shirt, do not rub it dry.
3. Don't comb or brush it when it's wet either. If you have to, finger comb or use a wide-tooth brush to detangle.
4. Stand with your head upside down so that all your hair hangs, and scrunch a curl-defining lotion, spray, gel or mousse.
5. When you are upright, just scrunch it to keep the curl, and then don't touch it after that. Leave it to dry.
6. Don't don't don't comb or brush your hair when it's dry, because it will just straighten out the curl causing it to be all gross and puffy. Trust me, I know. I learnt the hard way. Just use your fingers to separate the locks of hair if they get too tangled.
Personally, I used The Body Shop's Brazil Nut anti-frizz, curl defining hair lotion, it worked wonderful for me. :) Good luck! Oh, and I don't know if you have this where you stay, but I find RPR's Fix My Frizz finishing serum works wonders. I don't go a day without it. :) (It's an Australian brand, btw.)
You should definitely try John Frieda Frizz Ease.
They have a whole line of shampoos, conditioners, and serums designed to block frizz and keep your hair straight and sleek.
Here's the link: http://johnfrieda.com/products/product_f
Those are all their Frizz Ease products, and as you can see, there are a LOT to choose from (:
You can buy John Frieda at CVS, Ulta, Walmart, Target, Harmon, and Rite Aid.
:]
OUIDAD! When I want to do my natural curls, it's the best. It has an anti-humidty gel (called Climate Control), and a spray (Botanical Boost Conditioning Spray) that keeps the curls soft and touchable. Check their site, but then price on ebay, qvc, and other sites like that. No need for the shampoo/conditioner, though the conditioning mask is worth it (though expensive) the Climate Control and Botanical Boost is what you want.
