Ok, so I have medium long, meduim-curls brown hair. Are there any products that will tighten my curls, since they are always so puffy?Curly Hair!?! Help!!!?
I have hair similar to your description and I use a product called Moisture Block. I'm not sure it will tighten your curls but it will make them more defined. I have to get it at a beauty supply shop. It's not water based so pretty much stays put even in the rain. It keeps my hair from being frizzy and gives it a nice shine. The trick is to use a little bit for each section of your hair and just smooth some on without doing too much finger-combing.
Something you might also want to try is to rinse and repeat with your shampoo every so often. I find that products and even conditioner can build up over time causing my hair to be a little flatter. Removing the build up may help to tighten your curls.Curly Hair!?! Help!!!?
DON'T USE MOUSSE!!
i have curly hair myself and mouse just makes it look wet and crunchy...
i suggest getting some sort of serum (personally, I like Aussie:Curl Definition %26amp; Soft Feel Serum [http://www.aussiehaircare.co.uk/images/p
hope this helps ;)

I know you said no mousse or gel but thats how i get tight curls. I have that exact same hair as you. the shorter my hair gets the curlier it gets and i have about shoulder length hair. i use Tresemme Curling mousse it really helps just try it once. promise it will work it.
i suggest that you go to the salon and ask them. they should have something for you :)
ask them that you wanna keep your curls tight and not puffy and what you can use to keep em tight. they should have something.. :)
I use Tresemme's flawless curls extra hold mousse. i love it. it's doesn't make my hair hard or crunchy or anything but it holds my curls and shapes them perfectly! I got it for i think $4 at wallgreens. i'm pretty sure you can get it at cvs too.
Try some gel or mousse to tame those curls.
And, well done to you for embracing your curls instead of straightening them!!
