Short, curly hair? Help please?

My hair is about to my shoulders, and i wanna curl it.


Any suggestions? Or websites?

Hair to your shoulders is NOT considered to be short in the hair business, and is charged accordingly in the salons I know in this city.





What to do? You want to curl it? Then curl it. That simple. There are many ways.





Basically, you need moisture or heat to make your hair into a new shape. You can shape damp hair into whatever shape you want (remember what happens when you sleep on damp hair, or hat hair), and let it dry that way. It will stay that way. You can roll it in rollers (any size), put it in curls around your finger and pinned, braid it, twist it, and a bunch of other ways if you think about it long enough. Then the hair must be allowed to dry fully and completely. Air drying sometimes takes a day or more, a hood-type dryer is faster.





When the hair is dry, you remove all the clips holding it, and shake loose, or arrange with your fingers, or use a brush to get some control.





You can use heat too, with hot rollers or curling iron. Again, it needs to be put into that shape, apply the heat, and then allowed to cool fully and completely. A little natural moisture helps the hair curl; if it is very dry, curling becomes harder to do. The hair should stay that way until changed, but I find it is a little softer than wet setting.





Then there are all the different ways to make the curls... directions, shapes, sizes.... that is another whole book! Just experiment.
I have curly CURLY hair i know its a real pain especially when u wash it anyway best way to curl your hair is to buy a curling iron and curl you hair and put your hair under those things that u put over your hair and it air blows it. IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Curly hair only looks good wen its loong!!!!
I just use hot rollers.
