Curly hair help please!!?

Ok

I have naturaly really curly like afro hair, its quite good condition i think its dyed and has layers.

Im quite good at getting it blow dryed straight and then i use the straightening irons but after maybe 3-4 minuites my ends start flicking outward randomly and i cant get them down again,When i straighten my hair i can get the roots totaly flat so thats not the problem.

but what is ?

and also whats a good product that will flatten them down?

and could it just be because of my layers :/

Thankyou!!xCurly hair help please!!?
If your layers are really short that could be the reason.

You could try curling the ends inward.Or before your hair starts flipping out you could use hair to help it stay put. :) hope that helpsCurly hair help please!!?
Your layers could be the problem. Do you use a heat protector spray before you use the straighteners, that can help. I use a good one called vavoom gold heat by matrix, I got it at the hairdressers
Use ';By Framesi WIO STRAIT BALM'; before straightening your hair, it helps it. Also when you blow dry it blow dry down.. Like start at your roots and work down on your hair it gets straighter.
you probably just have damaged ends, when the last time you get a trim? If recent then it must just be that your hair is too resistant to the temporary straightening.
Gotta put Mixed Chicks products on the list. Stuff is great. You can use their wash and go system.

Shampoo

Detangle with the deep conditioner

Work the leave in throughout wet hair

Air dry.

P.S. don't shampoo too often.

Layers dont help the hair lie very well when straight.

Get your ends trimmed, and see if this helps.

Dont use too much product, as this can weigh the hair down.

If your hair is afro, or similar in texture, why dont you try a permanent, or semi relaxer.
You do probably have split ends to get a quick trim and then staighten your hair with a wide straightening iron (specifically for OUR type of hair) then use a straightening spray such as VO5 straightening spray which you can find almost anywhere e.g. argos pharmacies and chemists.

Hope i helped :)
