Wavy/curly hair help?

My friend has naturally wavy/curly hair that can frizz up sometimes but it's really pretty. But it's like that so she straightens it like every day which is bad for it, right?

So does anyone know any way she can kind of control it better but without doing anything damaging to it?Wavy/curly hair help?
Straightening hair every day does damage it. I also have naturally wavy/curly hair. To do the curly look there are many things you can do depending on what look you are going for:

1. Wet Gels- this gives it the wet, wavy look. It can make your hair hard, but it creates a nice effect.

2. Mousse- this holds the curls and it allows your hair to be more flowy.

3. There are some different creams and shampoos that are supposed to help with frizziness.

4. There are also sprays that can help hold curls and stop frizziness.

Hope this helps your friend. Good luck.Wavy/curly hair help?
Hi, don't use any products that contain alcohol this drys the hair and then their is frizz and usr shampoos and conditioners that contain coconut oils this is a frizz tamer by it's self and use a leave-in- conditioner treatment the more you can keep moisture in the hair the less frizz you will have.
whoa that sounds like me! i straighten my hair on average every day. i use a heat protector and if she does too it should be fine. but still...i get a haircut every few months just to trim off split ends. but ifshe wants to hve non frizzy curly/wavy hair...i shower then towel dry. then i get a scrunshing mouse and put that in my hair. then then gather all the hair and bring it together like your about to put it in a ponytail. then twist and twist and put in a bun. let it dry for a lil bit. watch tv or dress yourself or put your makeup on. then release the bun and part your hair and lightly and gently run your fingrs through. remember that it doesnt have to be completely dry. i leave it a lil wet so its stil easy to work wit. hope this works!
Your friend should buy products specialized for curly/wavy hair, gels, hairsprays, waxes etc. Use a pick rather than a brush as brushing and combing curly/wavy hair makes it frizzy.

Straighteners aren't bad, but after time, they do give you a lot of split ends. Just get a hair trim every 3 months.
Try ';Mixed Chicks'; leave-in conditioner.

Great stuff for controlling frizz, very light, smells great and doesn't leave hair feeling like there's a bunch of stuff on it.

The whole lines pretty great!!
tell her to use a mouse..it really works for me :)...this is the one i use... and NO FRIZZ!
