i have medium length, thick, brown, curly hair. it's been raining alot lately and i end up having to just put it up in a frizzy bun every day. i dont straighten it when it rains, simply because its too much work to straighten it to have have it curl. does anyone have any cute ideas for when it rains? i have bangs as well. thanks!Curly hair help pleaseee?
well, i feel your pain. i scrutch my hair and it comes out really good. You need curl gel, moose, and curl creme, and when its wet put one in at a time and scruch it with your hands upside down, regular and to the side and then at the end put hair spray in it. i use a good ammout because i have long hair, and with your bangs i would curl them under, or put them in a poof. and it only takes about ten minutes for me ((: hope i helped, and your hair comes out great !! best answer ? ;]Curly hair help pleaseee?
What kind of finishing product do you use? I too have curly hair and don't use hair spray. I use styling balm by Wen. It holds the curls but doesn't leave them crunchy and dry like hair spray does. If I get a bit rained on I just scrunch a bit and the curls pop right back into place. I've tried other styling balms that work just as well. I just happened to try Wen which works no better and costs a bit too much for my budget. Hair spray is the worst for curls. It just makes them dry. Also, condition the heck out of your hair. A good conditioner is the key to end frizz. I like Loreal and Pantene. I also never rub my hair with a towel. Always scrunch the water out. You might also want to try Paul Mitchells Round Trip. You use about a quarter size amount on towel dried hair. You can get it at any hair salon but I've found it's cheapest at Wal Marts salon for about $12. It last forever though, about 3-4 months.
Personally I think buns are adorable. But anyway, you're totally blessed to have hair like that. Mine's like yucky brown wavy grossness.
Anyway, buy some Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Shampoo and conditioner, it should prevent the frizz and make your curls more regular. The result is absolutely gorgeous. It looks best with layers, and the layers should thin your hair out and make it waay more manageable too.
