Only use shampoo on your hair about once a week. Shampoo dries out curly hair. Creme of Nature makes a really good inexspensive shampoo.

Everyday or every other day co wash with a cheapie conditioner for moisture like Suave Tropical Coconut or Vo5 strawberries and cream. Always leave a little bit of the conditioner in your hair for the added moisture when your hair dries.

A good regular conditioner, the kind you apply, wait five minutes, and rinse out is Nature's Gate Aloe Vera Moisturizing Conditioner, Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose, Nexxus Humectress, and Nuetrogena Triple Moisture.

Always apply a light leave in/moisturizer on the days you are not washing like Giovanni Direct leave-in.Im a guy with dry thick and slighty curly hair. HELP?
Maybe you need to change to other brand shampoo and conditioner. Why not try a wooden comb to comb your hair morning and night, reduce static and promote healthier and shinier hair.

if you want results, you need to use something that's NOT a cheap drug store shampoo %26amp; conditioner.

go to a salon and ask a hair dresser there what she'd/he'd recoomend for your hair.

they're professionals, so you'll be able to trust them.
I use Joico Moisture Balm instead of conditioner, it works great.
you need to use redken smoothdown shampoo and conditioner to control the dryness and frizziness. also the redken, fresh curls may be a good options but i don't think it will help with the frizziness. also try getting your hair thinned out a bit..this will help with excess bulk and texture. you should be able to style it better with it thinned out a bit...good luck
