I have Curly hair, help?

I have super curly hair, like alicia keys, its up to my buttox, and i hate straightening my hair, do you have any ideas and/or links to tips for curly hair, apart from straightening it.

A lot of people with curly hair will put it in twists (not dreds) and leave those in as a style for about two weeks. There are also up do's, buns, flat twists, puffs....





The longer curly hair gets then the harder it can be to manage or style. I suggest you join some hair forums and view some websites and ask for advice from people who currently have long natural hair. I've listed some below. I have curly hair, but not nearly as long.I have Curly hair, help?
Use good quality curl creme. Don't use too much (so oily, then).





Never comb except for when you just get out of the shower.





Always air dry if you can.





Cut split ends.





Try to use little hot styling gadgets if any. If you have to, then use a diffuser.





Don't wash your hair every day. If you skip one or two, then your curls will be more defined when you wash it next.





Pile it all on top of your head for about 1 min. with a clip after washing. Take the clip off and then your hair will be more bouncier and you usually won't be flat on the very top of your head.






There's a lot you can do with it.


You can cut it shorter so it wouldn't be much of a hassle but if you don't want to you can put it into like a nice bun with a few strands of your curls coming out. here are a few sites:

if you want to get it out of your face you can do a big braid, and that would be nice.





of you wear it down, use a lot of product, devachan makes the best curly hair products. they're pretty expensive but they are worth it! you can buy the them at www.devachansalon.com



I have really curly hair and it's EXTREMELY thick and it goes down to my hips. What i do is I were it up a lot. That way it's out of my way. thats all i really can do. I don't even own a straightener
Youtube has a lots of videos with ideas on how to control and style very curly hair.
wear it up hair up on curly people looks lush . i have wavy hair and it bugs me i would like either straight or curly
I usually put mousse on my hair.
