How do i get rid of tangles when i style my curly hair? Help!!!?

i want to have a good finish, meaning, slick and shiny and no stray hairs, and bouncy (i don't stuff that makes it too stiff). what can you recommend???

i don't have too much time in the morning so i'd want to go with the simplest fix possible. Thanks! How do i get rid of tangles when i style my curly hair? Help!!!?
Don't comb your hair, if its tangly, finger comb it.

Another thing is curly hair is usually thick hair, and natural oils are healthy and help the curl. So don't wash it every day, aim for every second day (unless you've been working out or doing something else sweaty). On the days you don't wash it, wear a shower cap (dorky, I know).

When you're at the drug store pick a product thats not sticky, because sticky = stiff when it dries. Squeeze a bit onto your finger, you're looking for something that feels more watery then sticky. I'm sorry this is a bad picture but the product on the bottom, Pantene curl product in the squeezeable bottle (sorry) I forget the exact name is a GODSEND for curls: http://www.saveursdumonde.net/belle/tete Apply it when your hair is ALMOST dry. Or on days you're not washing it, in the morning before school.

When you do wash your hair, never use a hair dryer, you'll get major frizzies, towel dry or buy a diffuser (similar to a hair dryer, but gentler).

I've had curly hair from the time I was 12, and for nine years I only wore very long and curly. Then when I turned 21 I decided nine years was a long time so I cut it way up past my shoulders and now I straighten it every day. Which is so much easier! But I love natural curls, and I learned to manage them, I hope the ';formula'; that worked for me, will keep yours looking just as good! How do i get rid of tangles when i style my curly hair? Frizz-Ease Hair Serum
When you shampoo just use your fingertips. If you can get an oily hair formula this would help too. Use a conditioner after shampooing applying it the same way you shampoo. Rinse the conditioner out completely with just warm water not hot. Pat your hair dry don't use a blow dryer. Brush with a wide bristled brush. Use a non-aerosol set and you're set.
use a serum on your damp hair such a John freda frizz ease.

use a good conditioner on your hair when you wash it and you shouldnt have tangles
oh yeah i have that problem too. i L-O-V-E garnia frutis curly and shine leave in conditioner. pop it on your hair and let it set for like 2 min. (maybe put some clother on or something like that) comb or brush....

-use spray bottle to make hair REALLY wet

-put a frizz fighting serum if you want to

- MOUSE NO GEl gell makes your hair all nasty and crunchy and it dries white sometimes and looks like you have some serious nasty dandriff issue...

- if you have time you can diffuse your hair... i found out that haveing a wet back (from your wet hair soaking in to your back) is not very flattering so i would recamend diffusing it. (takes me 10 to 15 min and i have thick hair....i only dry it 90% and i also add little sprays of hair spray for some deffinition...and i guess is my security :])

oh and also if your hair gets like kinda frizzy you can always put it in a messy bun with a cute rhinestone head band and leave some whispie hairs on the side and curly them if there not curled already. giving a ';i didn't try to hard but it looks good '; look
braid your hair before you go 2 bed so it wont knot while your sleeping / also there are a lot of great braid hairstyles / you can get a book at the bookstore or on Amazon.com /

You can use a dippety-do type of gel on your hair before braiding it and then make the briads tight. That should keep the fly-away stray hairs and tangles to a minimum.
you should try the garnier frutis products for curls it really works!!
