omg.
i almost cried when i heard about you.
i have the exact hair.
but i straightne mine.
try getting yours cut to your shoulders and above.
it is much easier to do that way.
but gel is PERFECT .
and hairspray is for the last touch if you know what i mean.
i use ganier frutis[sp?]
i have used that my whole life
they have this thing called sleek and shine.
get that. it makes it much easier to no frizz i mean shoot me in the head if it frizzes.
and if you want really, really soft hair get the curl and shine that is good but can't manage the frizz. and i promise thier gel is amazing.
hope that i can help.Curly hair help?
you should get mouse and then put hairspray
leave in conditioner just mosterizez your hair and you dont have to be in the shower to use it
it helps make your hair not frizzy
yeah aussie is a good company
...well although they may make your hair look good both gel and hair spray are harmfull for your hair's health...and leave in conditioner is good...you can use it instead of the gel...make sure it's a creamy one...let the hair air dry and do this a day you have nowhere to go so you can see the results before wearing outside...I reccommend that you go to your local drug store and look around and make sure you look at the labls too...the first 5 ingredients are the most important because they are the most present in that product...
THIS IS A LOT TO READ BUT...just read all of the hair loss questions and...make your own decision...
go to the website below...
John Freida Frizz Ease Serum it works wonders you only need a pea size amount and it's a gel you put in your hair when it's towel dried and it will keep the frizz away.
I have natrually wavy hair, so I have to take some time to fix my hair. First, after getting my hair wet, I use a hair pik to comb it out. Then I flip my head upside down and work the mousse into my hair. Then I blow dry my hair on cool ( so the heat doesn't damage my hair). I use Aussie Leave- in Conditioner. It makes your hair very easy to work with. I really hope this helps. ( I also hope that I get voted best answer). Yes, Aussie is a good company.
I've got the curly hair thing happening, too.
Pantene is probably the only leave in conditioner I've tried %26amp; it did help to tame the frizz.
Hemp products seem to work really well as they are not heavy. Can't remember the brand name though.
Also, the Fructis range by Garnier has been good. Again, not a heavy product (like gels) and designed for curly hair.
Good on you for giving up on the hair straightening. Curly hair is party hair. Straight hair is BORING! I know this because my hair can also go straight with the right brush.
I have poofy, thick, corkscrew hair. What I do is make a homemade recipe. It goes like this:
3 STICKS COCOA BUTTER
1/2 OF JAR OF BEESWAX 2oz
1 32 oz TUB CURL ACTIVATOR Gel
Begin by taking the cocoa butter sticks and placing them in a bowl. Scoop out 1/2 jar of bees wax and place it in the same bowl. Microwave bees wax and cocoa butter until they are liquid. Use an other larger bowl to put the curl activator it. Leave some curl activator inside of the jar for later. Take liquid wax and cocoa butter and pour it into the bowl with the curl activator. Mix vigorously with a spoon. what you will first get while mixing these the two may look like cellulite but be persistant and keep mixing until the mixture looks exactly like vanilla pudding then mix in remander of activator gel in the jar.
If you do not microvave the bees wax well enough it will clump up when you add it to the cold gel activator it may bead up and not allow you to get the perfectly smooth consistancy that you want. If this happens put the whole solution in the microwave for 4 minutes then beging to mix again. after about 2 minutes of mixing add back in the curl activator you left out from before and it should begin to look like pudding.
Apply to wet hair in small sections and comb through each section with a wide tooth comb. Then let it air dry. Your culrs will be defined and stay that way. This style will last for a couple of nights if you wrap your hair in a satin scarf.
This recipe on one average head of hair will last for about 2 months, and costs under 10 dollars, with some bees wax left over to haddle those pesky edge naps. I hope this has been helpful and I hope it works for you.
