Ok I have short curly hair (a little longer than chin length). The problem is that I went to get a really cheap haircut (big mistake) and she cut my hair unevenly. I asked for layers. So after a few weeks I get tired of putting my hair up all the time and not being able to leave it down because it's uneven so I decided to cut it myself. Problem is I cut it too short and now I can't put it up anymore - my top layer just hangs out and it doesn't reach my elastic. And it gets SOOO frizzy. I don't know what to do. Even if I go to a good hair dresser and get it evened out, I did too much damage and I cut some parts of my hair WAAAAY too short by mistake. I need to wait until it grows out. SO WHAT DO I DO IN THE MEAN TIME?
Basically I need a way to control all those too short layers I have. I have thin curly hair that gets frizzy easily. I try mouse, I tried silicon, I tried gel, I tried hair spray, and I tried cream. It makes my hair rough and too heavy.CURLY HAIR GIRLS::: I need advice!!!?
Well since your hair is curly it mite take a little longer to grow out. So maybe like the other girl said, straighten your hair. Or go to a salon and get those straightening chemicals. It lasts about 4-6 months but I think straight hair would look pretty cute.CURLY HAIR GIRLS::: I need advice!!!?

try Marc Anthony Strictly Curls spray. i got it at shoppers drug mart on sale for 5 bucks and it is so good. it gets rid of frizz and it keeps curls soft. if you can't find that, garnier curls and shine mousse is good because it is lightweight and absorbs really well.
ok, i totally understand your pain, i go through about an hour of straightening everyday lol.
you have a few options. i would have to see your hair, but it sounds like you still might have enough length to straighten it, in that case it will look sooo cute with the short layered cut.
if straightening is not an option, try using a very small (THE smallest) spiral curling iron to curl the frizzy parts and that will make it appera shorter, but still cute.
finally, if you dont have hair appliances, i suggest you go out and purchase some bobby pins. you can use them to hold back the layers that don't fit in the pony tail.
good luck, and don't worry, it grows back before you know it.
