YYAYY MY SPECIALTY:))
straighten you hair as little as possible
use a leave in conditioner and a conditioning shampoo
make sure to trim split ends
use a curl activater like by garnia (howev u spell it)
shower in the morning and scrunch up your curls towards your hair
scrunching helps the curls get a ringlet shape
dont blow dry
comb your hair thoroughly while wet
once its dry, DONT TOUCH IT or else itll get poofy.
hairspray helps tame it
foaming curl activater is good.
uuummm i dunno i think thats all i got! hope it helpedPeople with curly hair, help me out plz %26lt;3?
If you want to go straight; I get my hair professionally straightened with a relaxer. Hair relaxers aren't just for african american hair, there's a straightening product for all types. The application process, risk, price, and maintenance is equivalent to that of a professional dye job. Or invest in a professional grade flat iron like Chi or something comparable. And make sure to keep your hair moisturized, curly hair is drier overall than straight hair.
Curly hair can be beautiful, but for me having straight hair is much lower maintenance.
Well what sucks is that when you want to get rid of the knots in your hair and brush or comb it, you end up ruining your curls , then you have to wet it again so it looks non frizzy.
also with curly hair you always need products that will help hold your curls and get rid of the frizz.
whats good about it is that curly hair is hot :)
definitely. if you have bangs. straighten them but curve them a little depending on the shape of your forehead.
and i use john freida curl boosting mousse. right after you get out the showerr. and when you get out of the shower. use a white t-shirt made from 100% cotton like the ones from walmart. from like hanes or fruit of the loom. whatever. when you dry your hair with a t-shirt it gives you a lot less frizz than regular towels.
i personally don't recommend gel, but if you're going for that wet and crunchy look than do the gel.
oohh, and pantene shampoo and conditioner for curly hair is helpful. but for curly haired ppl, its better to avoid shampoo, and simply use conditioner on your hair from roots to bottom. some ppl think that conditioner doesn't clean your hair, but it actually does if you use it on your roots too. and leave on conditioner for 2-3 min. and just rush your fingers while you wash it out.
and also when i put mousse in my hair afterwards, i mix in some of my conditioner as well to keep the moisture in longer and at the same time it gives a good balance of volume-not too much, but not too little.
and don't brush your hair after you get out the shower.
and alsoo . keep your hair long for curlyy hair.
and don't dry your hair tooo much after you get out the shower. just do a little so the water stops dripping off your hair, but use a t-shirt remember.
i don't think its good for your hair to wash everyday because it dries it out. but every other day is good. and hairspray is helpful for frizz.
I have naturally curly hair like you too. I find that using a shampoo made for curly hair like Sunsilk Captivating Curls. Also I use an anti- frizz moose, which i scrunch in my hair. Let your hair air dry for the natural curl pattern to come out. never comb your hair!!! it sound a little weird but it really messes up curly hair. Hoped this helps!
hey,
i have curly hair too!
also i use Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Products, i know their kinda pricey but really worth it!

okay, keep it long, (short curly hair tends to look like shirley temple) and just let it air dry and put frizz stuff in it and it will look pretty and natural. keep it healthy. at least thats what I do =)
Mousse works nice, anti frizz sprays are good. Straightened bangs are nice.
