Out of control curly hair.?

my hair is thick and curly. when it dries, it turns into a huge afro, so i have to wet it all the time so i dont look like i stuck my finger in a light socket. its a little below shoulder length curly, with some small layers, and long bangs. how can i keep my hair under control, and not afro-like?Out of control curly hair.?

try paul mitchell products the mousse and the liquid gel... maybe some anti- frize from them .. it workds on me and i have the same kind of hair you do

well curly hair and bangs dont work, so either grow them or use a straightener. use curly hair shampoo and a lightweight moisterizer conditioner. at your hair dresser either bring a picture for your hair type or ask her for a cut for your hair type. use a defrizzer, a spray (curl activator, hair spray, or even a hair protector to help you with the weather) if your hair get's frizzy during the day use a VERY small amount of cream or if you dont have anything handy use a hand lotion. weird but good for touch ups.

i have the same problem my hair is the same way. first thing you need to do is use a shampoo and conditner (sp) that is designed for curly hair (i use curl vive) also when you get out of the shower blot the water out with a towle instead of wringing it out(that also causes frizz) next use a smoothing balm and run it threw your hair than take a wide tooth comb and gently comb your hair next thing use a mousse that is desiged for curly hair(i suggest noodle head by beyond the zone which you can get at any sally's beauty supply store) put it in your hair and scrunch your hair up than take a blow dryer with a defuser and blow dry it. if you don't have one you can make one using your blow drying and putting a sock over where the air comes out. finishes with a hairsrapy that won't weight your hair down also avoid playing with the curls. the more you mess with them the more they will frizz.
I'd use some hair gel or some frizz ease. Then you should be fine.

after u take a shower put ur hair in a bun. if u let it air dry it will frizz and become afro like. when u put it in a bun ur hair will still be wet the next day. if u want to you could skip the bun part and just put mousse or gel in ur hair
