any ideas for cute hairstyles for school or on the weekends becuz i'm trying to get back in the habbit of wearing my natural curls instead of straightening it all the time...also any advice on how to pin my hair up at night time so my hair doesnt frizz or my curls loose shape?I'm mixed with black and white and i have really tight-curly hair...?
I have tight curls...at night, split your hair into 4 sections (two on top/ front and two on bottom/ back); twist each section into a bun, so that you have 4 tight twisty buns on your head. (Do this after your shower, while your hair's wet and make sure to put some leave in conditioner or something that will retain moisture)....if you don't like sleeping with wet hair, and you can not do it a couple of hours before bed time, then cover each bun with a sock (a thick exercise sock). When you wake up, your hair will still be moist, and the curls will be looser and all be uniform...this really works.I'm mixed with black and white and i have really tight-curly hair...?
Had a boyfriend with really tight curls once upon a time. His hair always looked really nice - it was medium length - and what he would do was comb conditioner through his hair using one of those giant plastic combs while in the shower, and then, after turning off the water but before getting out of the shower, he would shake his head back and forth like a dog to get as much water as possible out of it. Then he'd leave it alone. No toweling of hair at all. Took it a little longer to dry, and he never combed it once it was dry, but like I said, it always looked cute and his curls fell just right.
hm well for hairstyles, my friends hair is kinda like your so you could wear it out with like a headband or something, or in a ponytail, or in a nice bun, or in a cool updo. i dunno. go to google and type in curly hairstyles they'lle give a lot although some are just showing loose curls, so maybe try typing in natural black hairstyles, that should show more coiled hair. um go to naturallycurly.com they give alot o info only about curl hair. as for at night, well my hair is different from yours, but i spray sections of my hair with leave in conditioner or water, a little hair oil, detangle with a wide-toothed comb, and do single braids in sections then wrap/tie it with a headscarf. by morning your hair shoule be less frizzy when you take down the braids. btw curly hair needs ALOT more moisture that straight hair, which should help the fizziness. i recommend products by carols daughter: carolsdaughter.com
good luck!
maybe curl your hair nicely
no I'm Puerto Rican
If you was your hair everyday a good way to keep those curls and condition your hair is by leaving the conditioner in as styling product while it is wet your curls dry and stay all day then rinse the next day that works they also have really light curl shapers by paul mitchell that compliment natural curls like just geling them in place
ummm..i winging it here because you didn't post a pic...for at night ucan pin it into a ponytail (the curls will look nice in a ponytail.) for school just pin the sides up or side ponytail it.
