I'm a guy, with really tight curly hair, should I get it relaxed or cut?

So i'm a guy like I said, with really tight curly hair. It looks like this just no quite as long and a bit tighter, my hair is around 6 in. all the way around.

My question is though should I get it relaxed to look like this..

Or..should I get it cut! I just want to do something new with it, it's getting a bit annoying. If anyone could suggest any short curly hair styles that would be amazing. Or mabey even dreadlocks. I'm of Caucasian and Puerto Rican descent, so my hair texture is a bit weird. Thanks!!!

Ermmmm I think you should cut it shorter. It would defo suit you. Dont get it relaxed it would look strange because of the color of your skin and the way your head is shaped [thats you in the pic right?]

I understand how you feel about change and its really hard to find styles to suit curly hair people but I think that cutting it short would work...please don't get it relaxed.

I straighten my curly hair all the time and to be honest I think it really does look better curly.
