I use to have long hair but, then I cut it and now my hair is like in tight curls.
I am 17 mixed and I want it back lol.
I was wondering if i straighten my hair will it grow faster because it seems that way.
Or is there any way i can grow it back w/o straighten it ?
Please help, I miss my hair.
AND yes I know I shouldnt have cut it but, I had nasty split ends =/.How to grow tight curly hair long?
By sporting those split ends you will never be able to grow your hair. In addition to looking bad...split ends will continue up the hair shaft %26amp; damage it further. Trimming hair will shorten it a bit but in the longrun it will help prevent damaged hair to continue. Trimming hair is the key to growing out hair.
To also help hair to grow...(did you get that trimming part) you should treat your wet hair very gently. Like it is a piece of silk. Wet hair is in it's most vunerable state. So do not towel~dry your hair. This will damage hair too. Use a wide tooth comb to gently comb wet hair out. Use a good natural bristle brush. They might be expensive to begin with but they will work the best %26amp; last for many years. Also don't use chemicals or heat on your hair....it can damage it also. Try massaging scalp in small circular motions. This stimulates blood flow %26amp; help to speed up the hair growth. Hope this will help you. Good Luck! How to grow tight curly hair long?
Straightening your hair is damaging.
What you need to do is deep condition your hair and protect your ends by wearing your hair in styles such as individual braids ';box braids';, and put the style into a bun.
But the key factor is moisturizing the hair with a deep conditioner.
But growing your hair takes time and patience. No shampoo or conditioner will make your hair grow.
ok, the reason u had straight long hair is cuz ur hair was long and heavy which kept the curls down, now u lifted all the weight off ur curls by cutting it, so there hella curly and free. u hav to wait until it grows back long and heavy, to get ur straight hair back. if u want u can straighten it over time.
-i would no all this for a reason.
You could straighten it. That would be easier for you to see the effect, and if you grow it in tight curls it might go crazy in curls if it keeps growing! I think straightening it would be beautiful!
