I would definately encourage you to buy one directly from a hairdresser or salon. Usually you can get one for about $100 or less... but it is worth it! Unfortunately, the cheaper ones don't work so well... and you will spend $30-$50 on a cheaper one. I bought a Conair brand one, and it just didn't work well on my curly hair. I have since purchased one from a hair dresser ($70), and it is ceramic, heats up hot, and straightens SO much better!
Use a smoothing cream first, and try brushing it straight while blowdrying helps too!
i would just get a normal straightner and straighten it in the morning and use a lot of hair spray! I wouldn't worry about buying some fancy strasightner cause chances are its not going to work any better than a regular one.
Wash your hair with an anti frizz shampoo and conditioner or deep conditioner. Afterwards , apply a straightening balm and blow dry your hair with a barrel brush. Then proceed to straighten it with a flat iron. After its straight , make sure to use flexible holding hairspray (:
