Can you perm tight curly hair, into loose curls?

yes you can, it is done using perm rods that are larger than the natural curls, but make sure that you go to a salon that does a lot of perms, they will have more and better tools for doing it.Can you perm tight curly hair, into loose curls?
no, but you can relax themCan you perm tight curly hair, into loose curls?
no, you use a relaxer. Its the opposite of a perm. But it does a lot of damage to hair, and curly hair is already fragile. Its not the best idea in the world.
Use Large curlers
I've been searching for something for years to loosen my curls.

There is a product called Miss Jessies Curly Pudding that does work. I've tried it and love it as a temporary style change. My hair is natural with a S patterned curl of about 6 waves per inch and it did lengthen/stretch out my curls. The product is thick, smells great but my hair was always moist with it. Not so great with Houston humidity. But I had some cute curls.
