Why do all/most black people have curly, tight curly hair?

Just a observation , even when there are black americans, they still havent adapted to straight hair (i mean like a kinda biological evolution and not White-Man adaptation type.)

With the exception of Michelle Obama and Micheal Jackson, i havent see much black people with straight hair. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks! Why do all/most black people have curly, tight curly hair?
stupid questionWhy do all/most black people have curly, tight curly hair?
Not all Black people have tight curly hair. The people you're talking about must be people in commercials because that is how they portray us. %26amp; just because Michelle Obama's hair is straight when she appears in the public eye does not necessarily mean that her hair is naturally straight. Having our hair tight and curly is most times very hair to keep up so we get perms or relaxers to make it straight and more manageable. However, the media makes it seem that we as a people all have really light skin and super curly hair which is not true. Although I have naturally very curly hair, from getting relaxers it isn't very curly anymore. %26amp; no one else in my family has curly hair. So I believe that the idea that ALL Black people have curly hair is a very common misconception. We all have different types of hair, texture, styles and everything just like other races, it's just hard to manage.
most black people have hair like that because they descend from africans and they're hair is always really tight unless they chemically straighten it or just straighten it. Some also have weaves or extensions that are just a bit curly but otherwise most have very curly hair because it's just heritage. If you don't believe me then look for pictures of bushmen and real africans. Hope I helped!
It is genetic. Most races have a distinct hair type. But Americans are a huge mix of many different people-groups that came over in the 1700's and 1800's, so our hair is much more varied in texture and appearance. This is why Asian people all have thing, straight black hair and Mexicans have very thick, dark hair as well, just as another example.
coz curly hair is a dominant gene. and its very very rare for a black and white to have kid with straight hair. similarly, brown eye color is a dominant gene and whenever a person with colored eyes copulates with a person with brown eyes, there is an 80 - 90% chance that the offspring will have brown eyes. same goes for curly hair, dark skin tone and some other genetic properties.
Mrs. Obama's hair is the after product of a chemical straightening service called a relaxer.

Micheal Jackson isn't wearing his hair... a Pepsi commercial mishap years ago destroyed his scalp.

You don't understand dna traits apparently. If a curly haired person procreates with another curly haired person their offspring will have curly hair...
I mean, it's a personal choice. I've seen many African Americans with straight hair. In my opinion, it looks better straight. White people, for instance, why do some guys wear skinny jeans and grow their hair out long? Why do some white girls love to go tanning and straighten their hair? It's simply a fad. It's a good question, but a little broad.

Good luck :)
lol because we're born with it. And we get perms and stuff but it cant get it all that straight - it takes a lot of work and some people just don't wanna deal with it.
I think it probably has something to do with genetics and the climate and stuff of Africa. Not sure though, good question.
thats a wierd question

its like saying why do asians have chinky eyes

or why do mexicans smell bad?

its all natural things that the category they are born in from god ;)
it's called genetics.

and ADAPT??

it takes millions of years for youre genetics to change to the climate youre in
beacause thats their trend
