I need tips on styling so my hair is smooth, wavy, and not freezy!I have VERY frizzy, out of control curly hair?
if you just want curly hair, you should use ';denise McAdams'; hair serum, or ';Nicky Clarke'; products. i have real frizzy hair, but because of the products i use it's pretty curly. it goes in ringlets and stuff!
you should wash your hair with these products, and while it's still wet you should brush it. well.
do not use hair dryers because they will just dry your hair out and make it even frizzier!
hope this helps. phants x x xI have VERY frizzy, out of control curly hair?
It will always be a bit frizzy, but I suggest using intense conditioner (Neutrogena Triple Moisture and John Freida Frizz-Ease Curl Around seem to work best), only shampoo your hair every other day or less (but use conditioner every day) and then style it with A Lot of curling gel, focusing a lot on the end of your hair (again, I recommend John Freida).
ok, I have super wavy hair like yours also, and every day I straighten It. Mine is way too out of control when I dont straighten it! Use the coriosiss straightener, or the maxiglide. they work the best!!! and dont use true ceramic pro, its not really ceramic! it will damage your hair!
Lots of leave in conditioner controls frizzies for me. Also avoid using a blow dryer. If you can brush through the leave in conditioner while it's wet, then brush it out then air dry and finger comb only, no more brushing or combing. Good Luck!
I would use tresseme shampoo and conditioner. Its what the stylist in hair salond use, and now you can buy it. I use it, it rocks.

I have a friend who has hair very similar to yours, she uses the Joico products with Moisture Recovery Balm for thick, course, dry hair. It smells REALLY good and works great even on my hair! She also uses a product that is kinda hard to find called Bumble Bumble defrizz, and focuses mainly on her frizzy ends, I don't know how dry your hair is but hers is very dry so she only washes it every three days or so.
Here are a couple of things that have worked for me:
Only comb your hair with a wide tooth comb, it gets out the tangles and will seperate your curls.
Put a SMALL amount of your conditioner in your hair while it is wet, after you have towel dryed it, before you put any other product in your hair, it will help with frizz, flyaways and softens your hair, but not to much or it will look greasy.
I use Textureline Curl memory Spiraldowncream, for my hair to ';remember'; its curl, and it works great, I can put it on while my hair is damp and scrunch it into shape, leave it alone and it will dry into ringlets. I Love it!
Don't use a hair dryer if you have naturally curly hair, it will make it more frizzy, unless you use it on the lowest heat setting and scrunch it, but only until it has some shape to it, then leave it alone! Don't brush it or even run your fingers through it, it will only get more frizzy. If you have bangs and like to blow them dry, that is fine, but I would suggest leaving the rest alone.
If you like gel for your hair you could use some of that as well, but using more product just weighs your hair down, it doesn't make it less frizzy, I hope some of my tips will help you. Good luck. ;)
Apply John Freida Hair Serum to wet hair. Do not apply too much or hair can look greasy. I have used this serum for years. Have never found anything half as good. It is great for defining curls, calming hair and adding shine
Although your hair may be somewhat frizzy, there are some simple things you can do to revive its healthiness. Be patient and follow the tips below to see results.
Tip #1: Treat your hair to a treat. This will fix your frizzy ends, smooth your strands, soften your hair, and give you stronger hair.
Try giving your hair and scalp a homemade hot oil treatment and protein treatment at least once a week. Here's some great recipes:
Protein Treatment:
Apply 3 tablespoons of mayo, lemon juice, 1 egg, and 1 tablespoon of honey to your hair. Let it sit on your hair for 30 minutes. Rinse with a all-natural shampoo and 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
Hot Oil Treatment:
Warm for 15-30 seconds in the microwave 1/2 cup of olive oil or coconut oil or carrot oil. All 3 are great for cleansing, nourishing, and repairing the hair follicles and strands. Let this sit on your hair for 15-30 mnutes and then follow with a all-natural shampoo wash. Mix all 3 and apply a warm towel to your head for a real treat.
Tip #3: Only use all-natural hair products
Unnatural hair care products are a no-no for someone who wants long-lasting, healthy hair growth. Find a hair growth product that contains essential oils, natural herbs, and vitamin rich nutrients your hair needs to survive. Look for products with ingredients such as: Aloe Vera, Citrus Fruits, Jojoba, Vitamin E, Coconut Oil, Grape Seed, Honey, and Amino Acids, and Ylang Ylang. Although there are several natural hair care products on the market, make sure you read the ingredient list. Most “natural” and drugstore hair products still contain phosphates, sodium lauryl sulfate, petroleum, mineral oil, and other lab created humectants that ultimately damage your hair. Damaged hair equals split hair.
I use GodHead Frizzy-B-Gone and Silky Smooth Conditioner on my clients with dry, damaged, color-treated, or splitting hair. It is a great restorative treatment combo. It makes the ends soft and supple and your hair shiny, healthy, bouncy, and smooth. The base ingredient in both products is Aloe Vera, a hair and skin natural healer, and natural oils, like jojoba, coconut, and grape seed. I see an improvement in the condition of my clients hair after two uses. Maybe you can find them at a salon near you or skip the upcharge and buy them online at wwwdiscoverb4acom.
lots of super-curly folks in my family use something called ';Mane and Tail'; (no kidding!) - you put it in after washing hair and let it stay in . Comb hair when wet let it dry.
Good luck!
