When I'm in the shower and I have
conditioner in my hair, I brush it in.
When I come out of the shower I don't
towel dry or blow dry or diffuse. Right away
I use a leave-in conditioner like Biosilk Silk
Therapy or a little regular conditioner and use
a boar brush (ONLY a boar brush, not a regular
one) to brush it in. I wet the brush a little, too.
If the front part of your hair doesn't look right
use a little gel around your hairline and use the
boar brush to slick it back.
NEVER use mousse unless your hair is more

I am so glad you asked this question. Curly hair is such a freakin science and not many people know what to do with it. If you don't have bangs, then go the rule of thumb is to go with the natural part of your hair. So first thing first: always use an organic shampoo and conditioner or something you got from a beauty supply store. Let your hair air dry, never blow dry. I like to shower at night so my hair dries while I'm sleeping (and no you won't get cold!). Never brush curly hair. Use a comb after a shower or your fingers. Brushing right before a shower is okay. In the morning use a style creme, not gel. Try the new Garnier one, I like it a lot. You don't need to brush your hair or even use a comb. If you have knots then use a comb for that but that's it. Flip your hair forward and hair spray for volume. Then use hair spray to fix small things on the top of your head. Most likely everything will look fine. Good luck!
okay i have naturally curly hair too.
this is what i find works best for me.
after i shampoo i condition my hair but dont rinse yet. let it sit in while you shave for a bit. like 3 minutes. then rinse. then once you are ready to get outta the shower rinse your hair in freezing cold hair to lock in the shine. this closes the cuticle.
now brush your hair. then flip your hair over and use a good amount of curling moose (i use garnier fructis) and scrunch. now take a diffuser and while your head is still flipped over diffuse your hair on low. then flip your head up and spray hairspray all over to keep frizz down and you are ready to go.
this style also works really good if you have long layers.
hope i helped
use a wide brush, and it has to be rubber. try not to comb it more than you need to because it will get frizzy. try getting some leave in conditioner and put it in while your hair is still wet. tdont wash your hair everyday, do it every other day, but you can still get it wet and wash your body. if you buy this special attachment for your blow dryer you can dry your hair too. try just pulling back your bangs and scrunch your hair with mousse or gel.
comb your hair in the shower.
dont towel dry it when you get out. just air dry if you have enough time.
if you dont have enough time use a diffuser.
or comb it in the shower put some mousse on it, and then let it dry.
you can always try putting it in a bun after you get out of the shower.
part your hair when it's wet. get a clip to hold it down.
hope this helped! (;
When you come out of the shower a deep conditioning mask should be applied to your hair it will repare any damages and get tangles out of your hair. If for example theirs little curls sticking out in the front you can buy a molding wax and just put down the hairs you don't want up. Hope that helps! :)
well i used to have amazingly curly hair. when i got out of the shower i would dry it with a towel, brush it, part my side bangs from the rest of my hair and put mousse through out my hair, except my bangs, then i would shake my hair and let it get curly and put hair spray it it. with my bangs i would simply straighten them
well, i have naturally wavy hair. i don't know how curly you're hair is but curly hair always looks good natural. a lot of my friends and I just let it dry naturally and we don't touch it, not even brushing. brushing your hair makes the curls come out and sometimes makes it frizzy :)
hope this helps!
well ...when u come out of the shower take a comb in one hand a blow dyrer in the there and the while blow drying com u'r hair at the same time and it will work cuz i had the same problem when i had long hair but i cut it short so yea...after that what u want to do is let it dry on its self dont towel dry it...or when u come out of the shower jus leave it like that and it will turn to look good
you can dry it and then straighten it if you want it to be straight and if you still want it curly leave it or put it in braids, let it dry, and take them out, get detangler conditioner if you don't want it to be a mess..... good luck!
if u have a event coming up and u want it perfect just mix a lil water in beer and spray ur hair with it then pull it up in rollers and the next morning take it out and use a tiny bit of hairspray. but do try it first to c how it comes out cuz all hair is different.
ok when you get out the shower brush it really good and then get Curl enhancer and run it though your hair then blow dry on low and put a little hair spry in it a ta da
hope its a help
Well after you come out of the shower you have to brush it with a comb. then you have to straighten your hair with straightens. then comb it again.
when you get outta the shower brush it still to get all the knots out. and then put herbal escense be curly mooose in. it works great. and never makes your hair friizzy or poofy.
I have exactly the same problems, so I just end up leaving it to dry without brushing and it goes into gorgeous, natural curls.
use a comb to brush your hair while its still wet...then buy a spray leave in conditioner...then dry, while twisting your hair.
you could try brushing your hair while blow drying it. works every time for me.
